Chen/He - The Butterfly Lover's Violin Concerto arranged for Flute

What a beautiful tone and thought-out phrasing!

I am a Flute majored doctorate candidate and currently preparing a dissertation. I will likely write about the recent trend of arranging violin repertoires into the flute version, especially violin concertos. To be honest, I was standing on the negative side to the attempts before I got this video. Because I haven't found any artistic and soundestic charms from those romantic era's works. But this performance let me escape from the firm stance where I stayed. Thank you for convincing me to broaden my horizon. I look forward to listening to this magnificent performance again on the stage with a grand orchestra!

This is the first time I hear a flute solo of ButterflyLover. Such an elegant arrangement. Almost flawless performance!
