We finally get Kurenai like decades later. Her moveset is basically what we have seen before. I really like her time stop genjutsu awakening action though.

    It's kind of funny, seeing a character from the early days of Naruto (before Shippuden) be given the modern Storm Connections style of animation. She has all these fancy particle effects, crazy grab animation and wild movements in her combos, but you can team her up with someone like Kakashi or Guy who just have... kicks and punches. The old, Storm 2 characters look so basic by comparison. I mean, she has more genjutsu moves than Itachi, which is just hilarious given their canon power levels.

    Another minor detail - it seems they changed the type of leaves she's themed around. When she appeared in Ultimate Ninja 5 or in other Storm games as a support character, she had these fanned ("palmately lobed") leaves, light red/orange-ish, like from a Maple tree in autumn. Now she's very clearly themed around bright pink cherry blossom petals, which I thought were supposed to be Sakrua's thing. I personally think the red / orange leaves complimented Kurenai's colour scheme better, but that's just me.

    I love how everything to do with Kurenai in Naurto games is always that goddamn tree genjutsu since it was like the only notable thing she did in the show...And it didnt even work against Itachi!

    Finally!! Storm has her in a game!! I've been real passionate about this recently since I've been playing Storm 4 a lot. Getting closer to a BT3-esque/the best Naruto game down the line. These games need more creativity and MK-esque dialogues. Is this game worth buying to hold me over lol? Looks to be the typical carbon copy Storm game with new characters. Are there any previously existing characters with changes to their ultimates and cinematics? Now, I'm waiting for the special jonin and other minor characters lol.

    It amazing it has been decade since first ultimate ninja storm that kurenai has never been made playable in all ultimate ninja storm series as far I’m know until boruto x connection let say her moveset surpassed my expectations it long overdue to have her long awaited playability in ultimate ninja storm series

    sh wasn't in the storm sereies until now... and now that i think about it.... i only remember playing with Kurenai in the ps2 games, and a funny thing is that both Kurenai and PTS Sakura has a similar ultimate in those games.
