When your expert calls in his expert, you know it's serious.

The guys accent made me know that he was an expert
  • @OfficialKlassic
Brett is one of the best experts they have, when he isn’t sure he doesn’t dismiss it he brings in someone else who can determine 100% if it’s real.

Hard to believe that a painting potentially worth many millions of dollars would be carried around by hand with no protection whatsoever. I wonder if he brought it to the pawn shop in the back of his pickup.
  • I love how the first expert carefully handles it with gloves and then comes the top expert who just grabs the bottom first thing with his bare hands and is like, "dis is not real."
  • @airtioteclint
You can just tell that the expert's expert, is an expert expert.
  • @agathor2017
That second expert had me sold on his credentials by his accent alone
  • @romcallis
If this were authentic, you could take it to any of the major auctioneers and get an answer as to value and authenticity...he took it to the pawn shop because everyone else rejected it
  • Every time I have ever sold a Monet, I have sold it through a pawn shop.

It's not until you see a genuine Monet, that you appreciate his work properly. I saw my first Monet in Amsterdam. As I walked closer, then further away from the painting, it dawned on me that Monet was using a form of pixels in his creations, no different to how a computer creates an image. Truly, an exceptionally, incredible artist.

You know it's serious when the final boss of France appears.

Too good to be true..Sure was.. Handling it like they did.. dude picked it up for $20 bucks at goodwill for sure.

Who takes a possible million dollar painting to a pawn shop, instead of a art expert ?
  • @rhymereason3449
Many questions remain. Did the Art Museum really display it and insure it for $2.1M - or were those documents fake too? Whose the con artist here... the person who sold to the Dr., the Dr. or this guy? Why would you take a genuine Monet to a pawn shop to sell it instead of an art auction? That kind of sounds like he was looking for a sucker doesn't it?
  • Anyone else find it hilarious that the other guy borrowed money from him and used a fake painting as collateral before going and croaking? His tombstone probably says I'll pay you back tomorrow 😂

Humility at its finest, when the expert admits that even he is not completely sure. This is a sign of a teachable spirit and not someone who (even though he is on a nationally syndicated tv show) thinks he knows everything, he is putting his ignorance out there for the world to see. This man is the definition of trustworthy!
  • The "doctor" who used the painting as collateral was the only one who made money...
  • Respect for expert. He accepted he is not sure and called in another expert.
