That really cleared things up. Jesus couldn’t violate His mission to the Jews. The Canaanite woman and the Centurion actually recognized Jesus’ mission by understanding their place in God’s program for Israel. The Gentile blessings were designed to come through Israel.

What is the difference between the "TIME PAST" in 1 Peter 2:10 and Romans 11:30? Rom 11:30 For as ye in TIMES PAST have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 1Pe 2:10 Which in TIME PAST were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

This is something I don’t understand, if the Cananite women knew all about Jesus and the centurion knew how things worked why didn’t they become Jews
