  • Walked up those stairs last year. So many selfies blocking my way to the top but I finally made it to find more people taking selfies
  • I've been there, it's amazing. The only problem is the hundreds of people, shouting, with their ice creams and all. They think it's Disneyland

This place could be used for a Templar assassins creed game. Your character could start here

I'm so happy that I got to go there in the early 2000s. We got a 2-h guided tour explaining all the symbolism, there were maybe 50 people in all the garden, nobody was walking up the well in the wrong direction, there were no lights in the tunnels, no crowds waiting to cross the lake, and the stepping stones were almost underwater. The whole effect was superb, and one could easily forget being a tourist and pretend at being an initiate.

fascinating to think that one of the factors that gave Portugal such a headstart in World trade in the medieval times were them not hunting down the dtemplars, but rather offering them asylum in exchange for their knowledge and skill.

I’m Chinese-Brazilian and lived in Macau. Something about this video made me feel... comforted and calm and full of wonder; almost like a zen at home type of feel. I have yet to visit Portugal. And I want to make this one destination visit.

Sintra is one of the most beautiful towns I've ever been to. I felt transported to Dark Souls when in that "initiation dwell".

Sem dúvida um lugar magnífico para se visitar. Sintra tem muita História e cultura. Portugal tem lugares extraordinários.
  • Started to go through this twice, once to read the translation and a second time just to view the images. But then decided to just slow the speed way down so I could read and truly enjoy the visuals!

"Inverted tower" Christopher Nolan has entered the chat.

I’ve been here I must say it’s definitely something that should be on everyone’s bucket list.

If the misterious vibe is what appeals to you, there are some limited time events, usually during the summer, when you can visit the well and the caves at night. They look even more incredible and there isn't as much people, either because they didn't know about the event or because they're too scared to visit them xD

It inspired a level in Shadow Of The Colossus
