Finland makes you so calm and patient ๐Ÿ˜Œ I come from Latin-America, and never felt in peace anywhere else than in here. Great video!! ๐Ÿ‘
  • I am from Spain and I lived in Finland for almost two years and I completely agree on everything you say! Something I remember clearly of when I came back to Spain is being in constant aware of noise and people's voices here. There is no silence anywhere, not even in spas! I will come back to Finland this week for holidays and really cant wait.
  • I lived in Suomi for a semester, while doing an exchange on my Masters Degree program. it was way back in 2005; yet, I still go back and forth to viist, especially since 2017. Once COVID passes, I"ll be returning for my long visits. I have people there that I consider my family, just like blood. I love Finland and I love the Finns.

Wow I loved this video! I am Finnish but I lived for a while in Tanzania, in the countryside in a local family and it was crazy how difficult it was for me to get to have some time to be alone. (I loved the family, it is not that, but as a Finn, I need my time alone everyday). Sometimes I tried to go for a walk on my own and immidiately someone of the family would come and join me, cause they could not understand that someone would just want to walk around alone - like they always thougt something was wrong with me, if I wanted to be alone.. And I met a Tanzanian woman in Dar Es Salam, who had studied two years in Finland and she said that, first when she came to Finland, she felt alone, but when she learned to be alone with herself, she had those same difficulties with me, when wanting to be alone in Tanzania.. Like the people there just could not understand her!! I am happy to hear you have found good things in life here! I wish you all the best in the future too! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
  • I totally agree with you about starting enjoying being alone! Just realized that, same happened to me! So strange ๐Ÿ˜€

Big issue here in Finalnd is, that no matter if youre a plumber, street cleaner, nurse, engineer or CEO, you have no status, youre equal. People dont bow who you are but respect that we have all these people to work together. We need everyone.

This was lovely. So happy to hear how my country has changed you in all these positive ways. Loved reading all the positive comments in this vid as well. Silence and nature is good, yeah...also, reacted especially to her speaking about having the time to have a hobby. I mean, I knew it, but it still surprises me every time someone mentions it. Also, I'm that person wearing yellow here ๐Ÿ˜‚โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ Finnishmama

I love the way you speak๐Ÿฅฐ๐ŸฅฐI wish I could be this calm. Everything you've said is so true. I would like to add that the power distance in Finland is very low. It is hard to tell who is richer or better off than the other. Everyone relates with the other person on the same level and that's why there is dignity in labour. Whether you are a cleaner or a manager, you are treated equally.

My heart and soul are completely Finland bound. The more I learn about Finland and its people, the more I am determined to call it home. I feel homesick for a place I have never been! Thank you for sharing! Wishing you all the best from Texas.โค
  • As a Finn you don't often think about this stuff, nice to hear your perspective :)
  • Your attitude and personality shine through the screen and are so refreshing just like the nature you speak about <3
  • Finnish women are strong, absolute bosses. I'm lucky to have such strong women in my family, especially my mother and my aunt are the strongest people i've ever met. -Finnish man

I'm a half Finn but sadly not living in Finland at the moment. What you said is so true. I really miss beautiful natural Finland and that sense of being happy being alone, not worrying what others think, doing things yourself - yes, live and let live. Enjoy your time there ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ
  • OMG, what a lovely video you made, how beautifully you speak of my dear homeland! Thank you! โค๏ธ

Naija, thank you for your beautiful video and realizing Finlands beauty every way.......I love that Finns do not judge lots of issues in life.they let it be.living in states over 30 years has made me appreciate Finnish upbringing and especially my parents.finnish parents let their children make their own decision in life.here parents have huge impact even their grown children lives.Finns do not care your political or religious beliefs.its your own choice.and that quietness is something else......walking in nature is soooooo healing....enjoy beautiful Finland and sounds like you do.all the best for you ๐Ÿ˜€

The Finns know something that the rest of the world doesn't. This is why they are the happiest people on earth.
