I've been out of prison for 6 yrs now. This song was the only song that I sang in my head for months on end. Here I am now six years later revisiting this song and it makes more sense to me now why I sing that song in my head for so many months now than ever. Thank God for his grace his mercy and his love! 6 years clean and sober and going strong! All glory be to God 🙏

This was my dad's favorite song he said to me, "This is the song I want to be remembered by." It's been 4 mounts now since he passed, and I'm still listening to this song. I cry everytime I listen to it. I miss you dad

lost my twins micky and sophia due to my heroin and meth addiction.. my ex wife took them from me, (thankful for her).. it was 5 years since i saw them, and going on 2.5 sober.. saw them on thx giving for the first time, and received a call last week that they get to come live with me in chicago from arizona for 2 months and stay with me until the move back to AZ in July.. I have been through hell and back and still dealing with a lot of bullshit. Thank you kid rock for this song it has helped me cope through life.

My dad used to listen to this song when he was sorting things out. I knew his soul was going through some growing pains . We drove out to Florida one year and he listened to it every now and then while trying to pick the path he wanted to go down next in life. He was having a rebirth of the soul. Unfortunately I didn’t understand the depth of it until he passed away 7 years after. I find as I get older with time I am drawn to this song like he is. He didn’t like kid rocks songs… but he loved this one. Sometimes I hear it I know it’s him. Saying not to quit and everything will be revealed in time.

Here in 2024, and songs like this only get better man. A time when music actually had meaning, and performers like Kid Rock actually had talent. Legendary!!

Love this song, it rings true to me. My hisband of 37 years was on crack and went through what we had and everyone else things too. I suffered panic attacks and depression so bad while i managed to work full time and raise our two kids while he would stay gone all the most of the time using. I would fall asleep praying for god to take the taste for it away from him. 36 years into our marriage he quite cold turkey. That was 2017 and he's still clean. Thank you God!! God is listening to each and everyones prayers. Keep having faith!!

I snuck my phone into a rehab and listened to this song 50x a day it actually helped me alot. That was August 25th 2017 been sober since thanks brother.

To all my fellow brothers and sisters that is reading this you are just as important as I and the rest of the world is. I love you and You are loved greatly by God and you are number one to him. Never ever give up but rise each time you fall. Life is a journey we all travel with many crossroads and many bridges. Sometimes we take the wrong road and we make mistakes along the way we just have to learn from them. I pray that if you are facing hard times and struggles that you just give it to GOD and have faith. Just know there is someone worse off than we are and I pray for all those that are. I always say I'm stressed but still blessed.
