Tsunade is a descendant of the Senju and Uzumaki Clan, and is one of Konohagakure's Sannin. She is famed as the world's strongest kunoichi and its greatest medical-nin. The repeated loss of her loved ones caused Tsunade to later abandon the life of a shinobi for many years. She is eventually persuaded to return to Konoha and take on the mantle of Fifth Hokage, where her skills prove invaluable to the village.

    Fun Fact: Jiraiya also has a jutsu that allows him to remain young but doesn't use it becuase it makes him look unnatural (or other reasons)

    If she didn't skip literal decades being an active ninja... She'd be easily one of the strongest characters alive, and definitely stronger than the any member of tthe Gokage of her time.

    She's earned her title quite fittingly even with her flaws I.E her temper and drinking(sadly unsurprising given what she's seen and done). Her devastated reaction to Jiraiya's death was tragic but also humanizing, while her general pacifism and moral based objections to harming non combatants just seals the deal with her paragon leadership. Tsunade is a true legend.
