everybody should know that dUg Pinnick is 64 years old props to the man for looking so good at 64 and being such an awesome player
  • @MantiaRyche
Kings X might be the most underrated rock band ever.

I like how Dave mentioned Judas Priest as an influence on his bass playing.  Ian Hill may have played simple lines, but his tone on JP's Unleashed In The East was just killer!

I'm not a bass player but I just have to say that I love dUg's tone.
  • @fearcross
Show your appreciation to Fuse for putting a video of bass players and real musicians. THIS IS AWESOME, SERIOUSLY. THANK YOU FUSE.

dUg really has the spirit. He's all about the feel. I love his attitiude. This man is awesome.
  • David is my all time favourite bassist, dUg is just such an amazing backbone to King's X, just locks in with Jerry Gaskill on every song. Ashamed to say I only discovered them in 2017 but made up for it soon enough.

I got to meet Kings X a while back, Dug was a total sweetheart & is probably one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He even gave me a free Kings X shirt! Lol

Listening with both ears and mind WIDE open...Dug is one of the most amazing musicians I've ever had the chance to listen to.  His playing with King's X is perfect, and his demeanor is nothing like one would expect.  Humble, understated, but musically brilliant.  LOVE it.

The song Dave was referring too where he had to switch tuning on a 4 string was hanger 18 fun fact
  • @whereisevan
Everything about Dave is the genuine article, from his playing to his personality. Doug, too.
  • @jhaj457
"I've always been the guy that stays here": 8:31 Doug is brilliant!
  • dUg is so amazing. What's amazing about him is his note choices. He can be busy when he wants but everything he does seems to be very solid. He really colors the music with these soulful counterpoint lines. It still floors me that when I hear something new in an old KX song, its usually him being subtle.

Never seen too many bass players jam together like that, AWESOME!
