  • This style of news is way more captivating then daily reporting, I like the direction ABC 10 is going with this.
  • Cool I can live in a cookie cutter subdivision in Sac instead of in the Bay Area. Shoot me.
  • Talking to people who move for political reasons...many don't seem to have much money. Don't want to say they can't afford CA so it's for political reasons. Then there are a few very wealthy people who say they're moving for political reasons but this seems more for attention. They're playing. There are plenty of people who think exactly the same as you no matter your political views that a person can surround themselves with anywhere in CA. But they really don't like places in CA that help people so they move to states that take away a woman's right to choose, restrict voting and other "more freedom" moves. More freedom = my freedom to impose my will on others.
  • I lived in Sacramento for a few years. Moved out of the area some 15 years ago and never looked back. That place is a pit. You couldn't pay me enough to live there. 1.) People are leaving the Bay Area, not just because of the cost of living, but because of the COVID dictators. 2.) I have a friend that lives in Oakland, and works in San Ramon and he told me that he is considering moving out to Tracy. I told him not to do it, because his commute will get three times longer, and places like Tracy are where dreams go to die. My advice to him, as it is to anyone thinking about going east of the Delta or the Altamont Pass is to not stop going east until you hit the state line at least. Time to give up on California if you are considering doing that.
