I just turned 74 and I prefer classical music... but this keeps me young forever 👍🇫🇮

No matter what Max Cavalera is the best Metal singer ever! When I first listened in 91 I was hooked and it's 2023 still hooked. Even in my wheel chair I rock out! Saw Sepultura in Louisiana awesome brought back memories!

I was 12 when I bought my first cassette of Sepultura, then there was a Soulfly. Now I’m 34 and still in love with all projects of Max Cavaliers. He is a true legend!
  • Max Cavalera is Probably one of the Greatest metal singers I have ever listened to.

One of my favorite parts of this music video is watching the drummer, and the way he plays that fast paced drum groove with such a high level of intensity. It's also really interesting how he applies a unique snare to hi-hat transition that I've never seen before. Moving his arms that fast is most likely in part for show, but it still takes a lot of energy to perform like that, and being that I'm a drummer as well makes it all that more impressive to watch. IMO it's always cool to see musicians provide their own type of self expression through music, and this drummer definitely adds a lot of energy to the song.

When "Is that David Ellefson in this video?" takes on a whole new meaning.

This sounds more like Sepultura than Sepultura

I was the editor for this music video in 2004, cut at doublewide post, NYC. It was shot in SONY HDCam, which is unheard of now. It was the first HD video the directors (The Goodguys, Brian and Nate) and I had ever shot and edited. Check out the faked "super zoom-out" at :45. There's a dissolve between two separate pullout shots. Too bad this wasn't uploaded full screen. I have the original master but there's no point uploading it twice.
  • I can't thank Max and all Cavalera's enough. My 10 year old 90s me IS ALIVE TODAY MORE METAL THEN EVER BECAUSE OF IT! 🤘🇨🇦🙋‍♂️🖤
