Alaska Adventure Hunting: Brown Bear, Dall Sheep, Caribou, Moose Season 4 (Part 2)

Published 2024-03-16
With almost 3 months spent guiding throughout the great state of Alaska, I am excited for the release of Season 4. After 14 years of guiding, it seems like each year gets better and better; great hunters, great animals, some great weather, but some not-so-great-weather, AGGRESSIVE bears, and early ice made for a memorable season and some AWESOME footage. For over 4 hours, you will join the stalk with my hunters and me for 3 Dall sheep, 3 barren ground caribou, 3 brown bear, 1 grizzly bear, and 2 moose. In all, 11 animals are taken, with 10 complete hunts captured on film. As always, I have tried to keep this video as raw and candid as I dare. I know everyone will appreciate this great country and its magnificent wildlife that I am lucky enough to live amongst each year.

Thank you Billy. I don't think that I will likely be able to afford the price of one of your adventures. But as for those of us who have spent our lives in factory's dreaming of the far north. Thank you for dragging the camera along.
  • I’m so glad to hear from you this morning here in Idaho even though this hunt is a rerun. You and your awesome adventures will continue to be a part of my life. Your family is very rich to have you in their lives.

For your casual lower 48 hunter. Alaska in general is way harder. There are some regions in the lower 48 that are tough, but probably not close to Alaska. Billy's job or any guide in Alaska is very, VERY, tough deal. Your not gaurenteed anything, escpecially the weather. Everyone says in their home state, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute. In Alaska it is real and it can mean death. IF you do it, be in good shape or your not going to like it. There is so much behind the scenes that goes on. Billy used some boats on this vid. I don't know how the boats and engines got in there, but they leave em and there gone. If the engine doesn't work, it's up to you to get em running. Them trees for a shelter were supposed to be cut, but sometimes there not. The guide has to do it. (Oh they hear about it - trust me). Anyway Billy know his stuff as a guide no doubt, one of the best. Just understand what you are getting into when you do an Alaska bush hunt! Most guides won't talk about horror stories with clients, but they happen just like any job. It is funny what you get used to. Whether it be an IT developer in an office and dealing with bad attitude co-workers, a trucker moving America's goods, a farmer, or a guide in Alaska, or whatever you do. Just remember the Lords word and do the best you can. Bless you all.

Man, it's a good day when I wake up with my coffee and you put out another video. Hello from bush Alaska, Billy!
  • @mikemchugh949
Man what an amazing life you live. I’ve lived my entire life in South Louisiana and have worked and raised a family here. I’ve been lucky enough to hunt all over this state with my son. I often dreamed of an Alaskan hunt. Unfortunately, I lost my left leg above the knee while in a coma from Covid. I get around pretty good now and even took a deer last season with a lot of help from my boy. Thanks to you and your amazing talent with words, you bring Alaska and all its beauty right to my living room. Thank you for that. I wish you the very best my friend. Well you just flew the Spaniard back after an amazing hunt and your next guy just landed. So I’m putting more wood on the fire and watching from my living room.

Billy, you should never stop doing this. I look forward to seeing your videos. They are some of the best out there. Thanks for what you do!
  • Might not have a moose guarantee, albeit I'm sure you can guarantee an excellent wilderness adventure. Where one gets to truly emers themselves in natures beauty & weather.
