Wow, y’all are the first new-to-One-Piece reactors that I’ve seen pick up on the Baroque Works connection between the agent who tried to recruit Zoro and that Garp was investigating them. You even picked up on their fashion being Baroque-inspired! Nice!

I just finished watching the last episode yesterday & loved the entire Season. I was worried that it would be difficult for Netflix to adapt 60 half hour anime episodes into just 8 hour long live action episodes, but this is definitely 1 of the best anime adaptations ever, & it does the manga & anime proud.

Gotta be honest, I was not prepared for this Live Action of One Piece to be this good. Netflix doesn't exactly have a great track record. But I am extremely happy with the entire Season!!

I love seeing new people enjoying One Piece. I knew about it since the beginning but never watched it until about 600 episode. I'm all caught up and it was a long but very fun journey with the straw hats. I would take a couple of years off, then catch up again. This live action did very very good adaptation.

Not a spoiler : But to help you guys for the further episodes, whoever eats the devil fruit as a consequence to bear which is that they can't swim and their power doesn't work under the water, which you guys will understand in the further episodes.

I feel like this is manga accurate, because when I watched it, I immediately remembered important parts of the manga and anime that I had read and watched when I was a kid. I've watched all 8 episodes. Only if you say it's better than the manga, no it's not. If you say it's worse, no, it's not. You can't compare them because they have their own interests. So far, this is number 2 the best. Number 1 is still Alice in Borderland Live action netflix series. and number 3, Rurouni kenshin movie 1-5.
