To me this song is the epitome of "well done for making it this far. You're almost at the end you can do it" this song really pushed you to finish the last dungeon and finally beat the game.

Koji Kondo really went around the globe and throughout time for this soundtrack. The horse-race is a blue-grass tune. The shop theme is a rumba. Gerudo Valley is a spanish flamenco. Kakariko Village is a western frontier lullaby. Temple of Time is a Gregorian chant. Not surprising coming from the man who went full rag-time for many Super Mario tracks.
