This is why I love the videos from Dr Sten Ekberg! He doesn't stop at the grotesquely simplified one-liners you often hear like "Eat more fish because it's good for you!!" or "Limit fish because the mercury in it is poisoning you!" Instead, he digs deeper and gives us the knowledge required to keep ourselves healthier. 👍🙂

The content of this channel should be mandatory on fundamental school across the globe. Thank you Dr. Ekberg!

As a firefighter I found myself depending on canned sardines to get me through the day. You won't fined a better lunch thats packed with everything you need ready to go. Probably the best food to pack in a survival kit too.

As a molecular biologist and cancer researcher, I am a big fan and must say your information--including the canned fishes (which are still beneficial comparing to not consuming them unlike other canned meats) are spot on!

I have to put it out there and say that your channel is one of the best health channels here on Youtube. A perfect example of how help videos should be done. None of the cute graphics, loud music or crazy intros. You literally use every minute of your videos to pass your knowledge to your viewers and that's hard to come by these days. Thank you!

Thank Doc..you are one of the best Doctors I have never known. I am T2D, ever since I found your videos, my life has changed. I went straight to the OMAD. One month along the road, I can now tell you that, I am a changed man. No more morning headaches, no more dizziness. I will keep on with the OMAD until further notice. My blood glucose has dropped dramatically, I will check my A1C in three months time. Thank you Doctor, you saved my life.

I love the small fish we eat in the Mediterranean like fresh sardines and small red mullets, fresh anchovies and many more fresh small fish. Also the fresh mackerels are small, I think they are called Spanish mackerels in the states.
  • Can you imagine a time when our seas were pristine? Having any fish you wanted in any amount? I love fish. Its truly a shame what we have done to our oceans.
  • Your videos are not only "recommending" which fish or food to eat but they contain the answers "why" as general information! I always have fun learning and following your recommendations doctor Ekberg. Thank you indeed!

I truly appreciate having this information and took several notes. Thank you Dr. Sten.:_healthAvocado:
  • My father used to get fresh fish from Norway, Canada and Alaska. He was a seafood distributor. By 1980 at age 25, I notice something was changing in the taste and my stomach did not feel the same. Lots of luck getting the real fresh stuff that my father did for the first 25 years of my life. All of the salmon is farm raised, even from Norway. Good luck paying for and finding the real fish!
  • @malekiram
everything you wanted to know about eating fish but were afraid to ask.. brilliant summary
  • I stumbled on to your channel earlier today and love it. You're doing fine work by telling the truth about the American diet and what people should or shouldn't eat based on actual science and data. Very refreshing.

Thank you so much for putting all that effort to educate us <3
