I’m a believer in Jesus, but this terrifies me. I struggle everyday with sin and the shame of trying to come back, knowing the things I’ve done. I can’t imagine the devastation of being told “I never knew you”. I pray strength for all of those fighting these spiritual battles. Never stop fighting

If those words scare you, that's good. Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. I am a born again and those words are my biggest fear. We are all sinners, stay humble.

If you love God, you are known by God and He tells us that if we love Him, we will keep His commandments; I remember the day that God called me out and saved me and He continues to sanctify me. "I never knew you." Never means NEVER! They were never saved in the first place. You can't lose your salvation. There are people who act religious, but never really excepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Outwardly they appear to be saved, but they can't fool God. When a person is truly saved all sin, past, present, and future are forgiven. God doesn't give salvation to a person, and then change His mind later. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Simple. He means "I was never INSIDE you. You used my Name to do your own will. But you never let me come in to do my own Will in you."

I was very famous in Radio, hanging out with Rock Stars and Movie Stars, and still went to Church and the scripture Mat. 7:21 says the same thing, "get away from me, I never knew you" -It HIT me like a lightning bolt!!! then I KNEW its NOT -Religion, just going to church, ITS ABOUT RELATIONSHIP! - so I quit Radio, chasing fame and now develop my RELATIONSHIP with Christ daily, and share his Gospel as he asks us to. Thank you LORD for Loving me and accepting me, and showing me the TRUTH!

Jesus wants us to have a personal relationship with Him; to walk with Him, daily. We are His Children and He wants us to know Him, intimately...not just know of Him. ❤️

I feel like I've asked this a million times, but I know I don't take Jesus seriously enough, and my thoughts often turn to doubt and blasphemy, please pray that I would fully devote myself to Him. I do feel like the 5 foolish asking for oil, but please pray for me.

He meant you never tried to get to know him. There's a difference between praying, and actually trying to make a connection with him. I've been blessed with hard times that brought me to him.
