If someone here wants to ask or question that in Vedas God don't have a form & He is formless so why make a picture or his deity form with a statue, then to let you know God is both Sakaar(a form) and Nirakaar(formless) in Vedas. Because he is all powerful his form is not limited to only formless, he can take any type of infinite shapes he wishes. So you can denote his representation using any different types symbols or forms. Also some Vedic verses about his Sakaar form: Yajurveda 3.61: ए॒तत्ते॑ रुद्राव॒सं तेन॑ प॒रो मूज॑व॒तोऽती॑हि ।अव॑ततधन्वा॒ पिना॑कावस॒:कृत्ति॑वासा॒ अहि॑सन्नः शि॒वोऽती॑हि ॥ The Rudra(Shiva) : with his depart beyond the Mujavan mountain. With his Pinaka bow unstrung, with muffled staff, clothed in a garment made of skin, gracious, not harming us, depart us. So the great Shiva (Rudra) is: 1) Pinakavasa: Who wields Pinaka bow. 2) Krittivasa: Who wears animal hide. 3) Mujavan: Who lives beyond Mujavan mountains. Rigveda 4.58.3: चत्वारि शर्ङगा तरयो अस्य पादा दवे शीर्षे सप्त हस्तासो अस्य | तरिधा बद्धो वर्षभो रोरवीति महो देवो मर्त्यां आ विवेश | —Four horns, three are his feet, two heads and seven are his hands, Bound threefold, the bull roars, the great God has entered the mortals". RigVeda 6.47.18: “रूपं रूपं प्रतिरूपो बभूव तदस्य रूपं प्रतिचक्षणाय। इन्द्रो मायाभिः पुरुरूप ईयते युक्ता ह्यस्य हरयः शता दश॥” —”For every form, Indra becomes its inner form. This is his inner form for viewing. Indra by his omnipotence projects innumerable forms, his thousand rays are spread all around.” CHANDOGYA UPANISHAD 1.6.6–7: य एषोऽन्तरादित्ये हिरण्मयः पुरुषो दृश्यते हिरण्यश्मश्रुः हिरण्यकेश आप्रणखात् सर्व एव सुवर्णः तस्य यथा कप्यासं पुण्डरीकमेवमक्षिणी “The Golden Person who is within the sun, he has a golden beard, golden hair, he is golden all through to the tips of his fingernails. There is a deity within the orb of the sun, who is seen by yogis. His eyes are red like the full-bloomed red lotus.”

God don't have face , image metaphor..if you're giving me example of mother then a mother is human being and has a life an can die and live but god can't ...god is glory a light which you can't be seen so please whatever you theory is its wrong.....it can't be prov...
  • Infact in vedas and purana it is more upto point the description of prophet from his family tree to his frnds and all the battles in which he fought how kuch wil people ignore
  • Yes pratima means reflection, symbol, picture, statue this words are synonymous but likeness means similarty how you can relate the synonym statue or picture with the word ''similarty''?it don't make a sense.. Can i say our temple have a 'similarty'instead of telling temple have a statue?? Or can i tell my mobile gallery have many 'similarty ' instead of telling picture?
  • @TheTruth786
Brother you have given a very very good example. Now my question is I think it is impossible to anyone to draw his image. is not it? And in addition it should be noticed that there is only referred the term "He" not "They" means there is only one God.
  • @kundansoni5313
clearly man...it says there is nothing like him ....then how hindu consider sri ( Ram Shiv Bhrama ) equal or themself to be god....i think u proved zakir naik point....it does not make any sense my pal...n 33million of them ,,,seriously...
  • @Akkujur11
No one should bow down before any pratima. No one should pray to any pratima.
