With the Forestwalking of the Lion, What if..... What if the Lion "Accidentally" walked into a vault "coincidentally" where the Fulgrim clone is displayed.

As far as I’m concerned, the only dead primarch who cannot return would be Horus, whose soul was obliterated. They could clone him, and have, but… it won’t be him. Not truly. The rest… their souls are out there somewhere. They could come back.
  • I’m a blood angels fan and I’m really split on Sanguinius. On one hand his death is a core part of the blood angels identity and he arguably had the most negatively impactful deaths out of all the primarchs. But on the other hand, with all of the chaos shenanigans going on having sanguinius come back to royally f**k up their shit would be so awesome. Also the idea of Sangy getting a modern 40K model has me SALIVATING.

I saw a suggestion that Dorn could come back as a dreadnought, the epitome of "even in death, I still serve"

You forgot the part about when the Emperor and Malcador were playing regicide and one of the dead peices represented Ferrus Manus. Malcador noted that and the Emperor said something like "Yes, I shall have to remedy that." It was in one of the recent Seige of Terra series books.
  • I'm ready for Vulkan to come back, I think it would be pretty sweet if he's just been blacksmithing away this whole time and has shit tons of weapons for the imperial forces. It would be really cool to see him gain new abilities like Crovas as well. Can you imagine a drake looking primarch breathing fire and wielding a tank sized harmmer?!
  • @ragingrhino4422
I'm really hoping vulcan makes his way back, the most wholesome space marine chapter needs to be proven honest. Don't make my boys liars games workshop, Vulcan lives.

Konrad Curze should return, having completed the mission he was built for. This done, he would lose his visions and retain only his near future sight. We would have an insane level of material for books and interactions with a borderline-psychotic frontrunner returning with clarity and relative sanity, having to deal with a world that feared him as a result of his former time in the universe. If Perturabo is to be the "anti-villain" of the setting, Curze would make a compelling "anti-hero."

I'm loving that they are slowly coming back. I've been wondering if Wes was going to do a Primarch series, doing a dive into each of their lives on their homeworld upto their deaths/disappearances/corruption. Cause to me a 8'-10' hulking dude would raise some eyebrows or so you'd think

Warhammer 40k: Attack of the Clones has to be handled delicately by the authors or else the narrative could easily descend into comic book "nobody stays dead" trope level. I totally want the clone Fulgrim to escape and set out on a quest for redemption though, preferably only supported by a cohort of Iron Hands because he can't get anybody else to trust him or try to help him redeem himself for killing Ferrus.
  • @FYAjibber000
Wethammer missed one thing....The Big E and Malcador discuss how Ferrus's death is a shame and the Big E says He " might have to do something about it"...implying the Big E can bring them back

Personally, I would love a more insight into the Alpha Legion. I saw a few shorts from Warrior Tier, where the alpha legion was involved. First I was confused, then I was perplexed, it all turned into bewilderment, then I felt tinge of uncertainty which led me to just be puzzled in the end. Which means, I need more.

Konrad is the least dead out of the Dead Primarchs. I want there to be a book where an Inquisitor or similar has the crown he wore, and takes it on a practically destroyed or fragment of a Craftworld. Through an accident the crown makes contact with the wraithbone, or an inactive construct and Curze's soul is in a new wraithbone body. I'd love it if he was also just upset that he was alive, not furious, not vengeful, just mournful that the peace he had in the crown has been broken. Konrad Curze was a man who went full turbo insane because he landed on the wrong world, arguably his and Corvus Corax's pods should have landed in each other's places. I also found it interesting that you didn't mention the fact Kurze had that crown, but this could be my brain just farting along at 3am. I like the idea of him just wanting to escape both material and immaterium, only to find people can force him to come back and trapping him once again.

My fan theory for Ferus Manus is that he got yeeted back just as he died back to Medusa like a Necron reacnimation protocol, given that there are still unexplored tombs and he was slowly getting cosumed by the Necrodermis metal in his hands. And cos the tmbs are still not active he is there traped until they awaken.

If I was to have my way. When Horus Heresy is over, I'd love for GW to do a "retelling" The Beast Saga, cause some parts of that lore need some cleaning.
  • My predictions for GW Releases/ returns in the lore. Horus: Never Sanguinius: probably never Ferrus Manus: maybe eventually but not likely Konrad Kurze: also unlikely but better chance than the above Corax: maybe but a long way off. Lorgar: maybe to serve as a primarch of chaos undivided but will not happen soon. Vulcan: eventually but will probably be the last loyalist to come back Khan: definitely eventually but a long ways off Dorn: so many IF fans out there that will demand this Perturabo: when we get a Dark Mechanicum faction, he’ll be either their leader or their monster model Russ: because of course he will Fulgrim: guaranteed to be the next release Alpharius: all primarchs are Alpharius.
  • @qwertystania
In my opinion, if/when the dead primarchs return, they can't just be who they were when they died. They need to be meaningfully changed; losing something that made them human while gaining something new that makes them even more inhuman. A real monkey's paw kind of resurrection. It would lead to a situation where we know characters could come back but we may not want them to.
