“Jesus was the the dude that was multiplying the fish and feeding everyone” had me rolling 😂
  • @lindsaysmith4208
“Where are they gonna go?” 😂 Just wait until yall hear about the whole ‘wandering around in the desert for 40 years’ part 😅
  • @emilybanks5055
Me yelling "denial is a river in Egypt!" every time Rob called it the ocean or a canal lol
  • @lunabirdlove
"God is like hold up lemme cook" lmao this reaction was kinda funny. I've seen a handful of reactions from other channels but they all knew the story so it was interesting to watch three people who knew so little watch this. I'm glad yall ended up enjoying it!

The Angel of Death is the most shocking thing I've ever seen in any movie. The silence, the swiftness of the children dying, the cries of the parents, it's all unexpected
  • @lindsaysmith4208
Zuff finally accepting defeat “No it was Jesus who could walkkkk on water” 😂😂😂😂😂
  • Regardless of your beliefs, the music is so beautiful. We finally have a cross over with Batman and Voldemort together singing.

I had to watch this as a kid growing up in Christian youth groups, and even though I’m not religious anymore I gotta say, the animation HOLDS UP, and so does the music
  • @angelaozz
as someone who was raised Christian this is so entertaining to watch your theories😭
  • @katie8881
"gives me Emperor's New Groove vibes" oh boy were you in for a surprise
  • @codenameheist
When Miriam was singing the lullaby to Moses, he remembered that tune because he was actually humming it when he was sewing that bag to pour the punch on those two priests👀

Fun fact: Shrek was being made at the same time as this, but it was notoriously difficult and a pain in the ass because of the computers that wouldn't make stuff move the way people wanted it to move (they had to use hair texture on the grass because it wouldn't behave like grass for example). As such, working on Shrek was seen as a chore, and it was definitely used as punishment. Basically, when animators didn't do their job well enough on Prince of Egypt, they were sent to work on Shrek as punishment, and they called it "being shreked". At the time, they thought Shrek was going to flop, and that Prince of Egypt would be recognized as the masterpiece that it is, but the opposite happened. Good for Shrek, but this movie definitely deserves more recognition than it is getting.

Zuff, “Aaron” is a name from the bible. That’s where it comes from. Lol
  • @runotehilla9276
He probably remembered the song because in the Bible, his birth mother became one of his caretakers and the 10 plagues are an insult to some of the Egyptians gods. The plagues are things their gods are supposed to have control over
  • According to the Bible (and I think the Torah) Moses was in the desert for 40 years before returning to Egypt and Aaron actually did all of Moses' speeches because Moses had a speech impediment. He split the Red Sea and turned the Nile to blood.

Hans Zimmer was NOT playing with this music!!!!! It is absolutely AMAZING🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
  • “I think that was just like their canal” GUYS THAT’S THE NILE. YOU KNOW- THE BIGGEST RIVER IN THE WORLD???

I made my ex-gf watch this with me because she'd never seen it before. In the middle of it she asked, '"How did they come up with such an original storyline like this!?" I was like, "Babe, this is literally the story of Moses from the Bible..." LMAO. She didn't grow up religious, so she had no idea. But, it's one of my favorites from childhood. Glad to be watching it again with you guys. Hopefully you take the time to listen to the soundtrack. It's really great!
