NBC doesn’t understand the omnium. Valente won this race in the previous THREE races. She only had to defend in the points race. But they don’t show those other, very exciting races! She got first, second, and first in the previous THREE!! SHOW THOSE RACES! In particular, the elimination race is such a nail-biter. Frankly, the first three races were way more exciting. In any case, Valente is a legend at this point! Wish our US men had anyone in the omnium… 🇺🇸

I think this needs to be shown more often (especially in the US hint NASCAR hint) so people know more about what is going on and how points are scored. This was cool to watch.

USA NEEDED to win 2 GOLD medals on the final day. And we did! Valente's successful defense was ABSOLUTELY critical. US women's basketball was SUPER critical. Without the women, USA would not have stayed on top. Girl power! USA must do better for LA 2028. Way too close a race coming down to the final two events on the final day.
