Farscape is literally my favorite show of all time. One of the only things I own on physical media. Makes me happy to hear other people love it too
  • I’m so deeply relieved that you were able to give some comfort and hope to the fan who was in such a dark place.

These catchups are a class act Drinker, truly. I'm sure you wont read this, but as an example, Tim Pool is one of the most superchatted channels, literally thousands of dollars a night, and he cherry picks like 5-10.

I sincerely hope that One Piece keeps the ethnicities consistent. I loved Lucky Roo and Noniko’s casting, but my god. Oda has given us the backstory of like every major character, every straw hat and villains childhood, ethnicity, basic like and dislikes through his sbs columns, it’s all available for anyone to read, I hope Netflix doesn’t just ignore that treasure trove of lore. the reason a live action wasn’t attempted before was because Oda believed that while the world could be created in LA, his characters couldn’t be properly cast. It’s gonna be the most important part of the show going forward.

I will ALWAYS welcome Farscape chat. Thank you for the tiny tangent 😊

+1 for getting Johnny Law on. That guy needs exposure, he is going places.
  • @LeonardSamuels75
Johnny Law is great! That would be such a win to have him on.

I highly recommend Succession. Excellent show!
  • @Daemondog
RIP the guy who recommended Ironclad

Wait? There's an Aquaman 2 Trailer? News to me. LOL. 😂

I like that Mauler's apparent conception of the American cultural landscape is just Rogan, Peterson, Trump, and Biden. Never change lol.
  • I second that recommendation of for Redline. It's a great racing movie, doesn't have a particularly complex story but the action and the music are insane!

Considering Primus made the South Park theme Song. I do believe that Mauler is familiar with Primus.

Remember the original Predator killed himself too. Optimus Prime laugh.

For the first question: A show I can recommend is Nagatoro. It set off "that" part of twitter because of it's first episode but it's actually really sweet. It also got twitter angry because they thought the tanned Japanese girl, with obvious tanlines, was somehow a bad depiction of black people... My languages dub is pretty good but I hear the English dub fumbles a significant plot point. It's supposed to be this sweet moment when he learns her first name but the English dub makes everyone constantly call her that, making him look like a complete idiot when the moment he's supposed to realize he never learned it comes.

Geeky and Kneon are Clownfish TV and yes I think they would make great guests

Would enjoy seeing Critical Drinker do a recommends or review of 'Absence of Malice'. Enjoyed it when it first released, and have comeback to it over the years and felt it aged well. Paul Newman and Sally Field turn in great performances, and loved what Wilford Brimley did with his brief time on the screen! Felt the writing and direction were top notch as well!
