  • This was definitely one of our favourite videos we’ve ever filmed! Michelle and Sophia were so much fun, and we can’t wait to follow their progress ☺🏸 PS who wants to see a re-match in the future? 👀

"To an untrained eye this might not look like much" - Me with my untrained eye and my jaw already dropped on the floor

I was at the u17 tournament that they played and watched their games (I’m u14). It is mind blowing how Michelle wins against people like double her height. I don’t know how they win but they just do. I guess it’s shot quality and consistency
  • this is just sooo wholesome. I was watching the whole video with a big smile on my face. Greg and Jenny, thanks for making my day! So much positivity and love.

I don’t even remember the first 10 years of my life… 🤣 Great video, so much positive badminton energy ❤

I'm 25 and I've been playing badminton for more than 10 years now. And thanks to Michelle and Sophia, I've learned today that I'd absolutely get smacked off the court by 8 and 10 year old girls. For me it is absolutely impressive how high and long their clears are despite being so young and short. Amazing technique!
  • @UrlOn2Wheels
Those innocent smiles. They're clearly enjoying the game and winning at the same time. Future pros indeed.

I am Thai and a badminton coach myself. I am very impressed with them. If Badminton England keeps encouraging these children, I am pretty sure and very convinced that they will be internal players and making big impact to the badminton world. Their racket skills, speed, power, deceptions are far beyond players at their level. I must say, it is sad that badminton sport isn't popular in the UK, considering this is where it's originated. I've been to England few times and found that this sport is played almost every corner of the country, but the government doesn't seem to have encouraged (in term of promoting) much comparing the some sport like dart, snooker, pool. Badminton has been rarely televised, if it has it would have been only 45 mins the longest. Oppositely, to many asia countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Chaina. This sport will be televised for hours and hours. I remember, on my last visit to England, I kept seeing Dart Tournament on TV every day and for hours. I just jokingly said to myself, " Goodness! apart from not encouraging people to do exercise (like playing badminton), they (say the government, the medias) encourage people to drink a lot of beers! Anyway, I love this clip, both of you have been nice in encouraging young British.
  • Please bring Sophia and Michelle back in the future. They’re so adorable 😍
  • @eliezerjk90
What I love most is that the kids played with smile on their face. On their age, it's extremely important that they enjoy the game and not pressured with expectations.

Go Michelle and Sophia, Future England Stars!
  • That last game was sooo cute!! It was actually 1-1 on unfair decisions (the net cord and double hit) but Jenny and Michelle would have won straight away if you spotted the net cord!
  • @a7salem
One of the best videos I’ve ever seen, love how you encourage and support children , these duo are the champions of tomorrow
  • @moochbert
Those big smiles are so infectious ... what an inspiration. Great video.
  • @1Min8Beats
Seeing you guys playing with the kids made me feel as if you were playing with your kids. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
  • @timthepilot_yt
It's wild seeing this video from you guys, cause I only recently discovered there's a similar series of table tennis videos featuring young pros from Adam Bobrow. From promoting young talents, to playing badminton all around the world, and making tutorials on how to improve. You two are really the ambassadors of badminton.
  • One of the most wholesome contents you've put out. More of the same, please. Also, all the best to Michelle and Sophia. I'm sure you girls will have a successful career. 🥰
  • @teamanna9896
Thanks for another fantastic video, Greg and Jenny. I've shared it with my coach, Anna Rice, who is working with similar age girls here in Canada with the aim of promoting the fun/social side of badminton and reducing the fear and pressure of tournament play. Your video captures the very best of what badminton should be for all ages - excellent technical, strategic, and physical training, combined with good sportsmanship, and tons of fun!! 🙂 Yes to a rematch!! Best of luck to Sophia and Michelle - always play for the love of the sport and you will go far. Keep up the great work! 🏸🙌💚

I can see why you enjoyed making this one. It was so lovely to watch. I had a smile on my face all brought this one.
