How to make the BEST cheese grits !

Hey y'all!! These are the BEST grits ever!!! Everyone always ask me how I make my grits because they are slap ya mama, ya auntie and your cousin good !! Cheesy, creamy , and thick ! No soupy ass grits allowed where I'm from! Here's what you'll need
1 cup quick grits
4 cups water
1 tablespoon of knorrs seasoning or chicken bouillon
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoon butter
Cheese of choice .. now on this part please use as much cheese as you'd like . I just eyeballed mine . And adjust as needed !

  • I made mine with quaker old fashioned grits, chicken broth, & milk. Cooked for about twenty minutes and then add cheese in the end. Yum! Yum! Never ate grits in my life until I moved to the South. Now it's one of my favorite dishes. Y'all just keep bringing the Southern girl out of me.

    I just finished making these grits. My husband is southern and don’t play about soul food period. He is currently licking his plate and the pot. I made a mishap in the preparation and my grits are soupy. He said that I should open a restaurant and sell these grits. Lol. Thanks for making our Saturday brunch at home memorable.

    I don't eat nobody grits but mine but I'm going to try those. We make our kind of similar I use chicken broth instead of water the white queso cheese( mild) sharp cheddar and sour cream they be bussin lol

  • I can always taste the little dry pieces of grits, no matter what method I choose. Feel like giving up. But I like them so much & so do my sons/hubby. But their standards are different. Just about anything is good to them. I'll try this & see what happens. Edit: My grits never tasted this GOOD! This is the Best grits recipe I've come across!

    I’ve been practicing making the perfect grits the past week or so and I think I cracked the code! The bouillon seasoning DEFINITELY makes it better 100%. I like just cheddar cheese in mine, and I just use half and half it works great. This time I decided to get some Publix chicken tenders and cut it up to put on top, and man is it good. I also added some bacon bits and hot sauce and I’m in heaven 😍❀️
