Nice - good to know of the alternative to Rub and Buff + the ability to use mineral spirits to remove it.

Been a fan of the rub n buff look for a long time. Never heard of the Inka Gold before, so I am grabbing some now. Thanks!

That stuff is great! I’ve never even seen it before. I’ve used Alclad II silver through my hairbrush and I love the results I get from that. But you don’t get colors.

Great work, as always. I appreciate new products all the time, so thanks for introducing these to us. I thought the mineral spirits technique was very handy. How does the finish hold up with fingerprints? Thanks for sharing.
  • Can i paint over rub n buff? Say if i wanted to use rub an buff as an undercoat then a satin painr over coat, so when i latex and strip the over coat it shows the silver for battle damage. Or would it not work since buff n rub is like a wax?
