The Humane AI Pin is slow, finicky and barely even smart. Though the concept is intriguing and the laser projector technically works, most of the execution falls flat. Plus, using it made me look pretty dumb. As it stands, the Humane AI Pin doesn’t do enough to justify its $700 and $24-a-month price.

"It's futuristic, if the future sucked." Wow... that was brutal.

Humane really built a product around every annoying tech user experience

Props for covering the WiFi difficulties that I had to cut for time in my own review!

the whole thing seemed sketchy since the announcement and how the guy was trying to "sell" the product on the stage. thank you for. being objective, rational and honest!

What always gets me with these kinds of crappy product launches is I can't imagine how during all the years of research and development and millions upon millions of dollars invested into the product, not one person (in a position of power) looked at this and said, "yeah, no, this is not good enough, let's try something else." They just keep charging ahead and end up with this piece of crap.

the price alone is Inhumane and charging $24 a month on top should be considered a war crime

Cherlynn is by far the best tech space reviewer for these kinds of things. Honest and real. Thanks for cutting through the PR noise!

The "Can we do it? or, Should we do it?" syndrome attack again!

Ouch, that hurts. But can't say I was surprised. I'm only impressed that it wasn't just vaporware.

The titles for the reviews on this thing just keep getting better.

LOL the video title makes so much sense
  • @gatsbysdead
This gave big “solution looking for a problem” vibes
  • @BrialMusic
Finally someone made a review that actually spoke about how little sense this makes with all it's projectors and blasting answers out loud 😂
  • Possibly the easiest expensive device to steal from someone, but also you would never be able to resell it for more than $20

I like that this review focused on the usability of the pin. I've seen reviews that examined the technical failings but having those put into context in her life made it much more tangible to me. Great video.
