Sigourney played 14 years old Kiriās character so well that I did not know it was played by a 73 years old. I was convinced the character was played by a teenager before I found out.

I have a theory, Kiri is actually Dr. Grace herself given by Eywa. Since her human body was too weak due to her injury, Eywa could not transfer her into her avatar, Eywa to transfer Grace through birth, and that gave Kiri. When she asked who her father was, Eywa didn't want to show her that's why she had a fit.

Sigourney Weaver as Best Actress in "Avatar" is the only Oscar nomination I want to see this year. She had to hold her breath and swim underwater alongside people a fraction of her age for that movie.

I've been in love with her since 1979, and from very early on knew she was one of the true greats. Nothing she's done in her career has done anything to diminish that -- she just keeps getting more magical. My respect for her craft and admiration for her work for many causes is sincere and eternal. And yes... I'd still run away with her if she asked. :)
