I’m moving as a 20 year old from Texas I know housing is a lot, but I’ll be living with a good friend so that isn’t a worry of mine as it would be for others. The pay is really good starting off which I am impressed honestly.

Life long black Oregonian & Portlander here Ps the more of our community that moves here, the better! Come join us. We are really growing even in the Beaverton area, I’m seeing so many of our ppl which I NEVER saw maybe more than 2 black ppl in a day growing up. I’m excited for the future of RIP city 🤗

Thanks for the info! My son lives in Slabtown and I've fallen in love with the city! Live in San Jose now, but would love to relocate to PDX. Is the Alberta Arts district as walkable for grocery shopping, eating and entertainment as the Pearl/Slabtown/Knob Hill? Looking forward to exploring them all much more this coming week!
