Born in North Korea, Yeonmi Park shares her harrowing journey to escape the hunger, thought control, and violence she experienced living under authoritarian regimes. Grateful to have found acceptance and justice in the United States, she cautions Americans to see the early warning signs—here in America—of the communist nightmares she fled in North Korea and China.

I’d heard her story several times before, but it was just as riveting listening this evening.

I absolutely adore this woman! She is the pillar of strength and hope. The things she lived through would bring most Americans to their knees!!! Wake up people! Our government wants what Yeonmi fled from.

I personally know Yeonmi, and she is the sweetest most intelligent person I've ever met. It is truly curious how those who have been through the most are the kindest people. Screw victim mentality, pursue greatness :) Yeonmi you are an inspiration and Im so proud of you, and I absolutely mean it when I say you have changed my life, thank you

The first time I heard her speak was on Joe Rogan. It was the first time I was ever upset/pissed off by what I heard on a podcast. She’s the definition of strength and perseverance. Thank you Yeonmi Park for sharing your story.

Adults aren't the targets of teaching socialism etc. It's the kids they want. Pay attention to what's going on in your schools and classrooms.
  • My own mother escaped a communist prison camp in Czechoslovakia. If she were alive now - and could see what is happening in the state of California where I was born - she would not believe it possible...
  • @free2runferal
I've watched several of Yeonmi Park's interviews and her story hits me in the gut every time. I pray those who need to hear her message, take the time to listen.
  • @praetorian1877

I am not a soft man but I always get a little bit teary when foreign born actually say what's nice about us as a people. Thank you. It's nice to know that we have big smiles.
  • @phoenix_arcana
Thank you. It’s because of patriots like you that we still have a fighting chance to keep our freedom. Always remember that freedom is never free it’s paid for with the blood of patriots and heroes
