EDIT(Aug 16, 2022): Btw, I've no plans to remaster this actually but if ever I do, don't expect it would be around soon like in this year. Perhaps around next year if ever. Don't expect much though.

Update (May 2022):

I'm too busy and fan animations are not a priority so don't expect much. There's just a little possibility I might remaster this. xD Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed this fan re-imagining. Like X vs Zero I made my own re-imagining so it will be distinct or unique. It won't be the same or remind you of others. In here, I want X to be fighting as well and Zero having a glimpse of his past. These weren't present on the actual battle in fact Zero doesn't remember anything at all in Zero series. Also the use of drama tracks will create a unique flair too. I love Ciel's drama track so much especially when Ciel said "You're already Zero in my eyes". I would love that part included to motivate Zero.

I'm mostly on Deviant Art or Twitter posting arts. Don't expect many more content. Do not commercialize, use, repost, edit or copy my works/ideas.

Sorry if it took long. It's already finished even before but I'm not satisfied. I decided not to upload it yet in order for me to change some parts of the vid. In the end I changed almost everything. Flash crashes oftentimes lately that's why I finished it right away.

Things I want to happen on the vid.

1. Remove the depressing feeling that was in the game.
2. Megaman Zero Style of animation.
3. This vid will answer Zero's question, "What am I fighting for?"
4. Get lots of views and good comments

The first quote in the end is what Zero says during the battle. It was from Telos album Retrospect Elf wars.

I wanted to put this in newgrounds, unfortunately the swf file is 40mb.

Hope you enjoy watching it!

Welcome back since this isn’t your first time watching this
  • Ok let’s be real here, the creator of this was WAY ahead of their time. The omega zero transitions, the x and dark elf scuffle, the fight itself, the background symbolize omega had the best of zero, zero making a comeback and knocks the pictures away, need I go on. This was a perfectly executed animation.

CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF THIS MASTERPIECE, STILL GOSEBUMPS TO THIS DAY!!!!
  • @Toastman30K
I really like the touch that Omega constantly switches back to Zero's X series design, almost like he's glitching between the two designs

I still have to come back here once in a while who's with me?
  • I love how flatly Zero responds to Wiel. "He's the original!" "Why is he your slave then?"

Honestly I want to believe that this is how the Omega vs Zero fight went canonically. Even if X didn't take part or Zero didn't destroy Pantheons in Cyber Space nor did he have his past two rod type weapons, the fast pace action, Zero nearly losing because of doubt only to get a second wind when he remembers Ciel saying "You're already Zero in my eyes" and realizing the answer he had long since he lost someone close. In that moment he was a hero reborn, a beating heart bursting forth from a steel body with unrivalled power held within and he felled the nightmare that plagued the world leaving only it's master left. That moment, no matter what may be or what anyone said, he was Zero. If the MMZ series ever gets an anime(WHICH IT SHOULD), this is what the fight verses Omega should be like.

"You're already Zero in my eyes" It was at this point, we knew: Shit got real

It’s funny: Omega is probably what Wily wanted Zero to be. Even Wile said that he barely reprogrammed Zero to be Omega. Meaning the “god of destruction” part of Zero was part of the body’s programming. Wily created Zero but Wile perfected him into the monster that is Omega. Honestly removing Zero’s soul from that body, helped both Omega and Zero become the best of what they were supposed to be. Zero: the greatest hero, that X looked up to. Omega: the monster that Wily wanted to create.

Those last three swings of the Z-Saber are almost literally the physical version of Cloud Strife's "Stay where you belong. In my memories." Damn.

Can we talk about how perfectly the image of Zero's X series design was used here? At the beginning, it was used for Omega, not because Omega was using Zero's X series design, his design is still the same, but because at the Moment Zero sees him as the original, and there for sees him with that body subconsciously. Which is only amplified when the OG Body is out over Omega absolutely bodying Zero before the Guardians show up. But near the end, when Zero gets the upper hand and realizes even if his body is fake, his heart is real, Zero is followed by the image of his original body, and Omega is not portrayed with that form again until the very last slash. The Slash where Zero permanently destroys Omega, where Zero's original body's after image is also behind current Zero in it's original pallet. Symbolizing Zero destroying his perception that Omega is the True Zero. This animation had so much thought put into it, it's still a thrill to come back to years later.

“You are already Zero in my eyes” that got tears out of me
  • Almost a decade later, this is still a masterpiece. Aged like fine wine indeed.

"You are already Zero in my eyes." Beatiful line.
  • @AzureFayt
4 fucking years later and Im still watching this
  • @Soranlbrahim
I love how his blade projected 3 images of Ciel at the final combo

Ok, can we just appreciate the fact that it has been 11 YEARS and this animation is still peak quality? Since this video came out i have not seen anything that comes close to it, it always came back to my mind when i was like 5, and to this day, to this very day i still think about it sometimes, kinda talks about how good it is, and it doesn’t even need a remake since it’s too god damn perfect.
