Love this! Proud Fairmont native! That guy is right - it’s called “sauce” in Fairmont, not “chili.” Woody’s is the MVP in my book 🏆 but everyone has their own taste in a hotdog. And to be fair, what they call a “WV dog” in WV is a “NC dog” in NC - except they put “chili” on them in NC, not “sauce” 😂

Born and raised in southern WV I loved the chili/slaw/mustard dog! So good! Now I live in the deep south and if i ask for slaw on my chili dog they look confused. I’ll go to Sonic and get chili dog and then KFC for slaw… There was a place in Raleigh Mall, Beckley circa 1980’s- Der Daughouse I think it was called. They had the best chili cheese dogs

In Northern WV, most people put SAUCE on their Hot Dog, no slaw. We do NOT call it Chili. Woody's is my favorite! I like these videos, thanks for sharing. :)

Yes. It has slaw. Otherwise order your chili dog and be on your way. Also glad you hit up Hometown in Granville. They're about the best IMO.

There are two kinds of hot dogs... Yann's & everything else. Yann's has been in business continuously since 1927 so they must be doing something right. Legendary.

as someone who grew up between Morgantown and Fairmont. Its funny how the hot dogs are different. Morgantown uses the slaw and Fairmont does not

I've had dogs from all over the country. Slaw dogs from Midway West in Huntington are the best IMO. Can't wait for my next visit to the Tri-state.

hey love the video man if you ever come to Pennsylvania come to the "Doghouse" in reading PA they have all sorts of crazy dogs my favorite is the devine dog has a piece of fried Canadian bacon, diced jalapenos, cheese, and a little ranch dressing its a flavor explosion

Yann's sauce even the mild is too spicy for my wife, I loved them with the hot sauce they wanted you to drink chocolate milk when you ate them. We both like Hometime Hotdogs, she gets the mild with slaw I get medium or hot with onions and slaw. We do them frequently
