Thanks so much for this Dr. Evans. I really needed to hear this. I am 27 and from Cameroon, but studying in South Africa. God blessed me wonderfully by making it possible for me to study at a prestigious university with all my tuition paid and I think I need to acknowledge Him for this. I have not been witnessing or talking about Him and this great blessing as I ought and this sermon just made me realize that. My mom is sick in Cameroon and I am devastated that I cannot be with her,so I plead for your prayers for God to restore her health and for His name to be glorified in our lives. Praise Jesus!

"While Jesus sympathizes with our infirmities (Hebrews 4), Jesus would never let His emotions govern His theology." It's really incredible how we come to understand Jesus as a man who feels our pains with an even greater intensity than we do, but dedicates Himself to His purpose in our lives because the supernatural Will of God overrules the emotions of the present. This is an amazing sentiment.

I've been listening to Dr. Tony Evan's teachings for years on the radio and they have really blessed me. First time seeing a YouTube video from him. I wondered, why aren't there any white people in the congregation? Now, maybe there are, but I didn't see any. My first thought was, "Why don't they let any white people in?" But then, my second thought was, "Maybe white people don't feel comfortable going to a church that has predominantly African American members." That is too bad. These people are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and if I lived in the Dallas area, I would be proud to have Tony as my pastor. And I bet I would be welcomed in gladly, even if I was the only white person there. Jesus Christ is the answer to racism. I am so looking forward to worshiping Jesus with people from every tribe and nation "on that day." Let us start practicing on earth what will happen in heaven!

People are so thirsty for God’s things but don’t want HIM. HE is our inheritance, our joy, our reward. This is how we can have joy in suffering. This is how we can trust his goodness even if he never heals us in this life. If what you are seeking is just things, you will always be thirsty, you will always be unsatisfied. HE should be what we seek after, and we can trust that he will meet our needs as he knows we need them. If he hasn’t given it, we don’t need it.

I am always lifted up by his sermons and I am a believer as it says in the bible "if I tell this mountain to be cast into the sea then it should be done." Faith come by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Tony Evans is a divine and true vine of the branch of Jesus and God and he speaks the truth and keeps it real. He is truly a vessel of God & a beacon of light in a darkened, lost & dying world
