Heaven & Hell , Mob Rules, Two of the best heavy metal albums ever, of any band !!
-
I gotta go to bat for Born Again here haha. I love that album. I'd even argue that it's closer to 70's Sabbath than the Dio era was. The riffs are a lot dirtier and have more of a weird edge to them, and Bill Ward goes into full 70's mode and just lets loose, unlike on Heaven and Hell where he was a lot more subdued and didn't get to put as much personality into his playing (Although I love Heaven and Hell plus the whole Dio era in general, don't get me wrong). Plus Ian Gillan gives the performance of a lifetime on that album. His screams on songs like Disturbing the Priest are just insane. I honestly love every song on it, but to each their own.

Thank you guys for a great review of 'Dehumanizer'. My first introduction to Dio-era Sabbath when it was released in '92. Holds a special place in my heart. 🤘

My friends & I used to drop Acid, down near the waterfalls, in our local park, on Friday nights — in high school. Master Of Reality, was THEE cassette, we would listen to, on our boom box. The best part? As the ‘D’ batteries would die? The fucking music became SLOWER, and MORE EE-ViLL. This, making our LSD experience MORE trippy. 😆

You guys are hilarious and my personal favourite reviewers of all things metal on YouTube. Keep up the good work. Top notch! 🤘👍

Haven't watched this video until now because the length kept me away, but awesome video. Really appreciate the thought and effort that went into this 🤘🤘

I discovered your guys' channel after I heard Max Cavalera talk about it in an interview. I love the content! Vol. 4 is my #1, but honestly it flips between that and Master of Reality on a weekly basis. "Lord Of This World" inspired me to learn bass because I LOVE the arpeggiated bass runs Geezer rips through while Iommi plays on top of them with his solo.

Really enjoyed this episode, you guys crack me up!

Hey guys I've been binging your videos and I want to let you guys know how much y'all have improved in the past year. Just watched some older stuff, while good, you guys flow way better now, your personalities engage with each other and the listener way more naturally and your descriptions while still honest, are more concise and clear... that's not easy for a discography this large. Keep up the good work!

As a 47 year old metal nerd I really enjoy these videos and rankings! You guys are great! Just like most metal heads...intelligent, witty, down-to-earth and goofy. I wish I could hang out with you guys. You guys actually introduced me to some awesome death metal bands. Keep doing what you're doing. 👍👍👍

Anyone else excited for the Anno Domini box set coming out? It has the IRS albums all remastered with Forbidden being completely redone. The samples they played from Forbidden sound fantastic so I can’t wait to get mine! And apparently the master tapes of Born Again have been found so we’ll get a new version of that too!

Great video guys! Enjoyd it very much! Greetings from Athens, Greece.

Great job. Well done. Very entertaining.
-
Finally glad you did this episode! If you want a recommendation, it’d be cool to hear what you think of testament’s discography
-
Great video, my favourite band. Although, that Born Again hate hit me where it hurts... 🤣
-
God I cracked up when the paranoid comment came up when Crin was talking about song titles and album titles. Perfect moment
-
Thanks for getting us all through lockdown, lads! Horns up from Yorkshire, UK! J

I had no idea Tony lost his fingers in a factory accident. Shit he's really an inspiration for survival just like Ozzy himself.

One thing you will never hear “That guy sounds like Ozzy”
