Found this song by accident..in the shower listening to hip hop/rap, and this song starts playing..didnt jump out and change it, because I thought it was an advertisement. Listened to the song all the way through, and played it again. Since then, I've added a bunch of church songs, and deleated my rap/hip hop list. These guys are good..and it shows their passion for this song. Thanks!

Before Jesus ascended back to heaven He instructed His disciples saying "Do not leave Jerusalem up until you are filled with the Holy Spirit and only then shall you be my witnesses from Galilee to Judea and all the ends of the earth" It just shows that no mater how long you have known about Jesus or how much you've been taught about him or seen him do or even walk with him as his disciples did BUT without the Holy Spirit, his cross can be heavy to bare and some quickly give up on this born again life. Oh Holy Spirit am desperate, hungry and thirsty for you, feel me up more and more, I breath you in. Hallelujah!

This song has helped me through so much. I love that worship calls us to “lift our eyes”…but I also love that worship calls us to “lower” them as well. A chance to look down at the things we’ve been standing on…things we’ve put the full weight of our trust in. It’s a reminder for me that if something in my life is shaking…there is a divine invitation to adjust my footing. I love that we recorded this live version a few weeks ago and I’m so happy to share it!

I didn't stumble upon this song, but at midnight on 4/28/24, I thought of a previous song I heard by Elevation Worship, that I came to listen to, which was "Wait on You" and I clicked on the other video of this song first before going to listen to wait on you. Then I came back again to listen to this song again, before heading to bed. Life has been a huge rollercoaster and over the last few weeks things have been slowly climbing again. Nothing major, but it's been some good steps in the right direction again.
