The Arise and BTR artwork is SO much superior to the COD artwork anyway: Infinitely more legendary!

Michael Whelan é foda! Conheci o trabalho dele por causa do Sepultura vários anos atrás e recomendo todo mundo dar um Google nas artes dele, sensacionais. Minha favorita por todo conceito, cores e execução é a do Chaos AD, porém a que mais me explodiu a cabeça por conta dos milhares de detalhes é a do Arise, aquela pintura é absurda!

That's really interesting, I had no clue he did those covers. One of my favorite art pieces in my house is a Whelan print. I was clueless I had a bunch of cds with his artic them as well. (Guess I should have read those credits)

Even though Monte’s method of sorting things out was indecent, I’m glad it happened this way. Lovecraft’s Nightmare by Whelan perfectly fits to the atmosphere of Cause of death, and the final versions for Beneath the remains & Arise are perfect. These are my fave album covers along with Chaos AD’s.

Também acho o logo que a gravadora deu SEPULTURA bem melhor que aquele clichê de puxar pernas da primeira e última letra. Tudo baseado no Metallica que iniciou isso.
