This first part in the cap kingdom isn't a troll, it's just terrible design.

This hack was awful from the rip. Making fog and awkward instructions means most people won't play your game. Dave is so very patient

... I wasn't on the stream, so I do not know this, but PLEASE tell me Dave didn't forget to re-activate the troll mod after he beat Mecha-Wiggler. Because from what I see, the vanilla game started right when Dave fought Mecha-Wiggler.

hmm... I'm not sure that random (unsee-able, and even unmarked, mind you) death planes in 3D space, and the moving of cutscene triggers to some random locations that would have just killed you in normal play, count as trolling. A big part of troll levels IS that they kill you (kaizo blocks, yeets to spikes, hidden enemies) sure, but that certainly isn't all it is. Good trolls should also be learnable and avoidable. And while they make you lose progress, they are meant to be fun or funny, not overwhelming. Most even have some way of letting you know what's going on. Now... that random death-plane would have been a GREAT troll, if there was some kind of shimmery field around it, that you could see if you're really looking, but miss if you weren't paying attention. ;) Then it's on the player for not noticing an obvious troll, instead of just "yup, game killed me" This is more like a "Chaos Edition" of Odyssey... just a bunch of mean (not usually fun, and not particularly learnable) edits to the game file to make the player's life miserable. Fun to watch someone play, but not to actually play yourself. You know what part WAS a good troll in this hack!? The ramp falling the wrong way in the first real kingdom. THAT was a good troll. ;) ... Highly entertaining, obvious, and certainly inconvenient, but it was still possible to progress in the area... you know, after you stopped chuckling. LOL

I returned for Dave to play an absolute troll legend of a game. Goes to show how far this channel has come.

hate this edition from the start. Making the whole game froggy and unseeable doesn't mean troll, it only means annoying.

Hey DGR! I've been subscribed for a while and I've always wanted to know how you modded your switch since I've seen multiple methods but most of them seem sketchy and i wanted to mod my switch for mods like floor is lava for mario Odyssey
