Tony Hawk is the consigliere of skateboarding and an icon of pop culture. He's got more than a dozen X-Games medals, was named the top vert skater every year from 1984 to 1996, and boasts one of the most commercially and critically successful video-game franchises of all time, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. But how is he with spicy food? Find out as The Birdman makes his triumphant return to Hot Ones and takes on not only the wings of death, but also the brand-new Hot Ones Hot Pockets—now available nationwide. Along the way, he discusses the evolution of skate slang, tales from the grommet come-up, and the Space Jam follow-up that almost was.

Like if you remember the first Tony Hawk Hot Ones Live! Who else do you want to see for a Reunion?
  • @XGames
How do we help make "Skate Jam" happen
  • Tony Hawk is probably the person who most embodies and personifies the 90's as a decade.
  • @DetiousMusic
Tony is one of those figures who grew from being a pro skater and is just a lot of people's childhood hero. I love that he seems happy and healthy.
  • @TDo0zIt
I truly admire how chill and down to earth this man is
  • @valarya
Bro... when Tony goes in for a SECOND BITE of DaBomb while Sean is physically dying, you know this dude's pain tolerance is nutty 💪

Love what he said about never being too old. When I was 13 my Step-Dad rolled over my skateboard with his motorcycle (one of many passive aggressive things he would do.) I haven't skated since. I'm 25 now and I think this weekend I'll have to go get myself a skateboard again. Gotta pick up where i left off. Thanks Tony <3
  • It's amazing the longevity that Tony Hawk has had. He's around 11 years older than me, but I remember being a very young kid and skateboarding and he was a pro then. And then all he has accomplished, and given back to skateboarding. Even after I stopped skateboarding 20+ years ago is around when THPS and those games came out. I played most of them endlessly. He is someone I very much looked up to, and he was a good role model for younger skateboarders to have all these decades up til this very day. He's our Michael Jordan. An absolute living legend. Much love and respect to Tony Hawk.

You can’t not love Tony Hawk. Such a humble and lovable legend.

I can't stress how important the Tony Hawk games were to me growing up, I know he didn't make the game and it's just his name, but the most important part to me wasn't the gameplay, it was the soundtrack. I discovered so many bands because of this game, eternally grateful.
  • I had the honor of briefly interviewing Tony for my college newspaper and he was genuinely kind and patient because I was a little shy and nervous. He’s one of the nicest celebs I’ve ever met ❤
  • @Nervous29
Skated with Tony several times. Hung out with him and the Birdhouse team every time they’d come to town. Super solid guy.
  • @patpatboy2
Man, I'm not used to seeing Sean struggling more than the guest! Tony Hawk KILLED it!
  • @suckapunch
I love Tony. He's always such a legitimately humble and positive guy who always comes off as a total gentleman. The sport couldn't have asked for a better icon.
  • @mikeangelo94
Tony is easily Sean's favorite guest. He's so interested in every answer it's fun to watch.
  • @sk8allday091
The fact that he mentioned Foy for the perfect pinch during a semi-casual interview (he ain’t wrong), is amazing. I’d be screaming like a little girl if I was him.
  • This man is such an icon, he doesn't even seem like he knows it. He is one of the ones we must protect.
  • @ThatDudeinBlue
I met Tony when I was 11 years old. When I was 31 I got to skate his vert ramp due to befriending guys at the Skatepark foundation. (An amazing charity for skateboarding) Incredible dude and an inspiration to so many who got into extreme sports.
  • @eeezaack3854
The amount of respect I have for Tony hawk as a skateboarder and businessman is inconceivable.
