You must have taken good care of him to get him to the age of 13 . That goofy smile, the one ear up, one ear down , the broccoli-on-the-nose trick — what a special guy. God bless this man. I hate to see animals be abandoned, but I imagine the person was trying to leave the dog him in a place where he would be adopted rather than taken to a shelter and put down. Glad they had a sweet life together.
