  • Capcom's lawyers must be Nintendo level assassin-lawyer tier if they were able to negotiate the rights again. Dudes should be negotiating peace treaties with those skills.

With how hard X-Men '97 is popping off, Capcom found the PERFECT time to announce this
  • Capcom is fucking back for good now. They’ve been KILLING it for the past few years. Whoever locked in the RE:Engine should be awarded.

My Saturn and Dreamcast: "So like, does that mean you're not gonna play with us anymore?"
  • @simonr344
Initial reaction was Max's best since the Cloud reveal for Smash
  • Not "Marvel's Back", it's capcom finally getting things done right. This Marvel side ain't part of disney's copyright property. And with nintendo doing the direct for this collection, Disney sure is hell ain't wanna try their lawyers' experience to fight against nintendo in court.

It is great seeing someone get exactly what they've longed for for so long. Not only are we getting MvC2, but a bunch of other games too.
  • They didn’t reveal at EVO because it would’ve caused the largest earthquake in Las Vegas history
  • @krench421
They didnt just free MVC2, they freed ALL of them!
  • Max when his daughter gets married: yhis is pretty cool, but do you remember when MvC4 came out?
  • The arcade 1UP was just the appetizer. This is the main course
  • We got X-Men '97, Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui in SF6, and now we got the Marvel Fighting Collection this year? This makes me very, very happy!
  • We live in a timeline where both Capcom vs SNK 3 and Marvel vs Capcom 4 can be, undeniably, palpable.

With the port of a 3D fighter as you say, and 'Capcom Fighting Collection' being a series now, I'm not just hopeful for a Cap vs SNK collection, but a 3D fighter CFC now. You've got Rival Schools 1 & 2, Star Gladiator 1& 2, Power Stone 1& 2, Tech Romancer and Final Fight Revenge all with arcade versions...

As someone who personally doesn't play fighting games that much, it brings me joy seeing Max this happy.
  • I have genuinely not been this excited for a videogame related release in years, I’m not a cynical person, I’m not someone who thinks modern games suck, just nothing has truly caught my attention these past couple years as much as this, Marvel vs. Capcom means the world to me personally, as I’m sure it does to everyone! These games have personally helped me through some of the hardest points in my life, especially the music, the music has inspired me to get into composing, going to school for it etc. I am more than happy our efforts culminated to something, we won guys!

I never played MVC2 but there was a machine at a roller rink and i’d always stare and watch the demo and being amazed at the sprites and what was happening.
