Traffic lights in the USA can be the same across the world also, and this video is nice to learn about the same.
  • @DJShadesUK
2:18 British traffic light. Incidentally has a slightly different sequence to the US: Red. Red/Yellow. Green. Yellow. Red.

Do you know what site I could take my permit test online in Florida.

And, what about a flashing left turn red arrow? i ran into that just across the State line in a small city.
  • @serdarozdil
I wonder why you didn’t explain the “Left turn YIELD on green” sign…
  • The driving book is the reference I need to check what is in different driving books about driving. I cannot just trust what people state in videos about driving because when people make videos about driving people tend to miss details when explaining stuff. The driving manual is not written as it needs to be written for people to understand what they need to know about driving and if I would or am going to use driving videos for reference about how to drive I need to make sure with the reference of the driving manual that what is stated about driving is correct. The information I stated in my comment here is the only way I will learn to drive.

The explanation in this video is basically wrong. Green lights do not mean "Go", They mean your direction of travel has right of way and you may proceed into the intersection if the intersection is clear of cross traffic. Red does not mean "Stop". It means you do not have right of way and you should not enter the intersection If you are already in the intersection you should exit as soon as safely possible. You should stop before crossing either the intersection boundary or the marked stop line. You do not have to stop simply because the light is red. Yellow is a warning that you are about to loose right of way. You should enter the intersection with caution and if in the intersection you should exit it as soon as safely possible. You cannot "run a yellow light".
