Love after Ryan gets the final out.....the old scoreboard at the Astrodome would fire off the six-shooters, followed by the roar of the bull.....congrats to The Express and #5....
  • Noted that "Cowboy" Joe West was the first base umpire in that game, and he is still umpiring.
  • No one will ever get the strike out record or no hitters record ever it's Nolan Ryan's record will forever. Who ever says and different are crazy
  • I have seen him pitch several times in person. He was truly one of the greatest of all time. I really haven't seen anyone like him since.

  • @bridder01
Awesome! Keep the Classic games coming! :)
  • 1:04:12 Garagiola says he doesn't think Gehrig's record will ever be broken, Ripkin would begin his streak the following year. on another note, Steve Garvey was known for having tremendous forearms, so take a look at his forearms and realize that was considered big in the late 70s/early 80s.
  • Watched the last out live as NBC interrupted its other non-baseball programming for this glorious moment!

Recuerdo a Johnny Naranjo junto a Lilin Díaz,Billy Berroa, narrando los juegos de grandes ligas
  • Joe Garagiola (PBP) & Tony Kubek (C) 1-4/7-9 Kubek (PBP) & Garagiola (C) 5-6
  • How the hell can a 1st place team's cleanup hitter have 13 hrs and 50 rbi at the end of the season?

6th and onwards are basically he only transmissions available on YouTube... Million thanks for the upload
  • The announcers talk about the all time games played streak, "I don't think that record will ever bye broken". Just a few short years later another streak would begin.
