The original multitracks for IFL are presumed lost. When official remixes were done in 1995, the studio multitrack tape could not be found. For those remixes, the vocals were re-recorded. Here, through the marvel of today's technology, the original lead and backing vocals are used. The rest of the backing track is a recreation of the original, with a couple of judicious short samples from the original. My intention was to keep the same feel and vibe of the original and NOT try to make it sound like a clone of 21st century EDM. I also took a little inspiration from the Patrick Cowley version. I hope you enjoy this new version and video!

    Wow, I am a huge Donna Summer fan and this is really, really awesome. I am able to get closer to her voice more than ever...and you kept indeed the seventies touch and this cowley touch...you are a master. Really, really beautiful. That one little line of the Live and More version at 7.03 minutes ... Wow! Never heard such work. Thank you very much..I will be listening to this piece for the next 20 years.

    I feel it's important to point out that Donna Summer wrote all her lyrics and came up with this incredible sound which Giorgio Moroder interpreted into this timeless piece. Absolutely breath taking.🌠🌠🌠

    I was born in 1967. I ducked, and disco flew over my head, then died. I wish I had learned to dance disco, its not too late. This remix is fantastic. Nicely done!

    Hard to believe “I Feel Love” was released almost 47 years ago and still sounds fresh and cutting edge even in its original Moroder mix. But updated remix is superb as well. A true musical masterpiece of a song.
