A house.......with an underground chemical lab????

In this explore we visit an old Mansion in the English countryside,
Built in 1878, this household once entertained the likes of Queen Victoria's sons.

Until recently it formed part of the rural campus of a well known college, as we venture down into the basement, we discover vast underground labyrinths of labs!
This reminds me so much of Spencer Mansion from Resident Evil, the mansion then being a facade for the sinister work in the underground complex.

Will we find the undead...........

  • Superb Alex. That Hothouse conservatory sold that to me. Beautiful beautiful building. Thanks Alex, taking all the risks so we can all enjoy your finds!

Brilliant work 👏 Loved this. Thanks very much. For anyone interested, the Manor House became 'out of bounds' to staff and students in July 2014. There have been plans to sell the house off and convert it into luxury apartments but there has been outcry over this, as the University still intends to keep running the campus (in the many other buildings on the land). Only the house and formal gardens would be sold. Due to the backlash, all plans are still on hold....6 years later.

Watching from S.E. Tennessee, and I’m blown away how such a beautiful building could simply be left to rot. Thank you for yet another fantastic exploration, gentlemen!

Absolutely gorgeous property! The woodwork is stunning. I couldn’t get over the size of this place. Great episode. Thanks for bringing us to these great places.
  • Your skill Alex in touring these complexes is getting better each time! You deliver quality content and I appreciate it!

Alex are you educated on Tartaria history that has been untold..when you are exploring these beautiful buildings and you are blown away by the architecture this because its not built us... Look up "Auto didactic" on YouTube and a understanding of this will come to light. when you are exploring you have a better vision at what you are looking at.. Sadly all these buildings are mostly in hands of gov or elites. this to hide our history..but its coming to light💞🙏🌻

I think the majority of the lowest level was for science-based research on plants. None of it looked like biology of anything else. When this place was a college, students may have studied about farming. Loved the video guys, Thanks. This is a gorgeous place to explore and then show us all you've seen. So Thanks again.

Well that was a nice surprise! Designed by my mates great, great grandfather as a private house ...
  • The first building you came across is called an orangery and victoriana had them built to show of their wealth to house rare and exotic plants

I can't believe such thing is abandoned. It cost millions. If the owner want to move he could just sell the mansion on discount. He could still earn millions and help another to get excellent mansion.
  • @Weeeewriter
Thank you for taking the time to create these videos, we appreciate it. You three are an awesome team xx
  • Love the green house. Cup of tea in middle of winter 😂. Enjoyed the older parts.
  • Wonderful explore team. Watching from New Zealand and love your content. Thankyou for being amazing
  • Super building with some very interesting features. Eddie, may I say reminds me of a runaway train. I do not think I have come across an explorer as fast as he. And he does not seem to get out of puff. lol. Hope this great building is saved and goes on to be occupied for a long time to come. Thanks for the great video, guys.
  • So crazy! These places are insane. The fact that they had multiple uses over the years is incredible enough but then to see them abandoned or at least out of use is wild. Makes sense as they must be a nightmare to keep in good condition and to run/heat etc but looking at the billions of pounds that the 1% have and the thousands of people without homes and then you get places like this just sitting there…it’s all so screwed up. Anyway, thanks for the amazing explores guys! Keeping me sane at work 🤣
