Watch Nick Saban and Alabama take on Georgia. Jalen Hurts spent most of the season watching from the sideline, cheering on the guy who took his job, Tua Tagovailoa, and hoping for one more chance to lead the Alabama Crimson Tide. He didn't pout. He didn't gripe. He didn't transfer.
On this Saturday, Hurts got the call. Boy, did he respond!
Hurts threw for one touchdown and ran for another with just over a minute to go, rallying No. 1 Alabama to a 35-28 victory over No. 4 Georgia in the Southeastern Conference championship game. It was a stunning twist on the scenario that played out less than 11 months earlier on the very same field.

Imagine watching these two immaculate QBs, and saying their 3rd string would come in 2020 and breeze through an all SEC schedule, be a heisman finalist, and essentially establish one of the most memorable teams, AFTER WHAT THESE TWO PULLED OFF. Alabama. Produces. Greatness.

Go watch the 2016 game vs Tennessee. Jalen's freshman season and he owned Tennessee that day. All Jalen did after this was go to Oklahoma and almost win a Heisman.

To think now, 2021, how Tua really hasn't jelled with the NFL but Jalen Hurts has. He's my guy (Philly fan) and we feel now that Wentz is gone thank you thank you Jalen gives us hope.That's why you never fall for the hype..it's always bigger than the man (or woman).

Seriously, the things movies are made from! Jalen loses his job to Tua who comes from no where to beat UGA in the natty. Then, Hurts rises from the ashes to beat UGA the next season for the sec. All the while, Mac patiently waits his turn, choosing not to transfer to do more than Hurts and Tua and lead Bama past UGA to a perfect season and the natty.
