I have learned from Freelancer that I am terrible without a lockpick or a silenced weapon. lol
-
I absolutely love this gamemode. This is THE pinnacle of Hitman.
-
This mode is hard but it creates some awesome John wick style improv combat moments that I never had in the campaign. The campaign is like a ballet. Freelancer mode is like a jazz concert
-
I've been playing on hardcore this whole time thinking it gave better XP outputs. The mastery grind in the 70s is absolutely brutal so at least I can still gaslight myself into thinking it'll give me more.
-
The only reason i came back to this game
-
Freelancer Mode rules. Definitely not touching Hardcore though.
-
Another trick is that if you get caught or are in danger, but you can't restart because of showdown or alerted territory, you can instead pause the game and completely quit the game application and then open it again and it should spawn you back to the safe house before the mission is started, thus giving you a another Chance.

This is gonna help me a lot, good video. Another good location for a silenced pistol is Whittleton Creek. The house on the corner across from the river (or thereabouts) has a basement with instruments set up and a garbage man with you can knockout who has one.
-
I was spotted in the biker club in Berlin, and for some reason I decided against escaping or closing the game and got into a big shootout. And, if you're good with the gunplay and don't have a silent assassin objective, there really seems to be no downsize to shootouts.
-
Still not super happy with some of the objectives and would love to see some art pieces or inhouse display stuff for collectors, but the mode is just so insanely good. Switching flavours via syndicate type goes a long way in keeping things fresh. Though as some modders have already addressed: Destination variants and weather/day times are still not used to its maximum, which I hope is subject to future support.

Been playing this basically non-stop the last couple days. Still screwing up occasionally (mostly just due to poor timing or trying to go too quickly) but I'm really getting into this gamemode now. It's kinda refreshing to be left to my own devices rather than just being lazy and following guides for the best methods.

3:21 this room, once costumised, gives you a scalpel also.

Just started playing freelancer. Wow this is so much better than the main game
-
I always choose the timed pacifications it is so easy to just throw stuff at peoples head every once in a while

I've failed campaigns from glitches. Like yesterday I was hanging from a ledge in mumbai, and then I suddenly died for no reason. Another time, I failed because after killing a leader, I killed a guard while he was standing in front of a door, but when he fell over he glitched inside the door preventing it from opening, which trapped me and I died.

You taught me tons from this little video, I suspected some of it, but this was highly informative, thank you!

Great video. Thanks for the tips!
-
great, to the point and educational, loved it!
-
Thanks man. This is a great vid that helped me out a lot.

It took three games and a whole new game mode to be able to put bottled poison into a syringe.
