Beavis & Butthead were straight up menaces in the early 90’s. Ironic how today they returned & society welcomed them back with open arms
  • I just think it’s impressive that a Tiger Electronics handheld actually has a proper multi-channel sound chip that plays real music and digitized samples, since all the other ones just have a buzzer inside them and no sound chip.
  • This is probably the most ambitious attempt at a tiger games I have seen before.

I grew up in the '90s and saw a bunch of Tiger games. This is the first one I've seen that I want to play. And they banned it. Let that be a lesson kids: fire really is cool. Yeah. Fire. Cool. Yeah.

Haha imagine the word ‘dork’ in a game causing enough controversy to get it banned today.

Wow, I've never heard a Tiger handheld with voice lines before. That's actually really impressive!

I hated those LCD "games." I could never tell what was happening.

This would've been my JAM, I LOVED Beavis & Butthead and talkie video games growing up! 😁
  • @SunBunz
So they didn’t like the word “dork” but I guess they failed to notice “piss”?
  • I always knew about the 2 episodes from season 1 that were banned (Was down Mexico Way which is hysterical and the paint thinner episode)but never realized they banned something like this.

My family was too poor to buy any video game system , plus there was only one tv in the house . There’s no way in hell my dad would turn off his westerns for me to play video games . Anyway , I got the Tiger castlevainia 2 game for Christmas one year . I played the hell out of it , and very much enjoyed it . I felt lucky to have that , i usually got a new pair of shoes for Christmas , and some oranges in my stocking .

I like how the manual happens to use an image of Buzzcut from the one scene everybody on the internet now knows him from.

Really, over the word 'Dork'? I saw Police Academy 5 when I was a kid and I always felt that sun-lotion scene was extremely funny.
  • There's so much going on in that sprite sheet it's insane. I bet you could animate whole scenes from the show using this LCD screen.

That is actually kind of impressive for a Tiger game. The sound, the alternate graphics for the levels... neat.

I have this game lying around my house somewhere. I did not realize that it was so rare and valuable.

Looks like it had considerably more TLC put into it than a lot of the Tiger games.
  • I loved those Tiger handhelds as a kid in the early 90s. They were dogshit 😂😂😂
