  • Imagine surviving all those Iraqi minefields just to fall down an elevator shift as jazz music plays
  • @NostalgiaMan
Falling into ice and then drowning under it while gazing at your freedom being so close would be horrifying.
  • The characters each opening the box in a separate way is actually a pretty cool way to establish and differentiate their personalities

Just so y’all know, the game master didn’t plan for them to be short water in the first game. Zoe had Amanda drink some water to calm down while she was panicking. So it was meant to have enough water, but Amanda drank some so they didn’t have enough
  • Danny’s death always pissed me off because it felt like it was triggered on purpose, and feeling that way, I considered it to contradict what the game masters were going for. He didn’t guess anything wrong or fail physically he just got blooped.

Something I really like is how Ben grows great skills at these rooms overtime. The first room, he was almost completely useless. But in each room, he was helping more and more, and the time in each room got shorter too. By the last room, he was able to solve a room by himself, with the shortest time available too.

The beginning of this is a great display of James’s amazing editing. The way he pairs his words with clips is perfect, as things are solid (shows ice) groundbreaking (shows breaking ice floor) and middle (someone in the center of something). Amazing work James I love your content

“Breathe bitch” is my favorite everything about this movie😂
  • @TimeBucks
the characters were actually smart and worked together alot
  • 12:57 "In real life defibrillators stop your heart, not make it beat faster" Well, when correctly used they're supposed to help your heart return to the correct beat when it's beating out of rythm. But yeah, if you use them on a healthy, person with a regular heartbeat, chances are it will kill them.
  • i watched this movie and i agree that it isn't the best, but the thing that made me love it was how they built Zoe and Amanda's friendship. they both went through severe trauma (i mean, all the characters did, but i'm focusing on these two rn) and even though their experiences were different, they still understood how it felt to suffer from PTSD. they found comfort in each other and immediately got along. i can also see a bit of motherly affection from Amanda to Zoe, and the fact that Zoe lost her parents could lead to her seeing Amanda as a mother figure. their bond just means alot to me, i love the way these characters were written edit: i also absolutely adore Ben. the scene that made me love him was after Amanda's death when Zoe was grieving, and Ben was trying to help her calm down while yelling at the other two to just "give her a minute". i think he was able to pick up on how Amanda and Zoe cared for each other despite not knowing each other, and he was willing to validate Zoe's grief over her instead of being like "she was a stranger bro get over it". Ben is such a sweet guy despite how edgy he was at the start
  • Mike's death in this made me so sad! Such a loveable character, amongst a group of people that really didn't like to work together, he died being the one to play for the team. Which I think reflected his trauma with the mine collapse quite effectively, as he had to sit helpless to watch his friends die.
  • @cidrain
I always thought Danny was secretly the designer. He knows all about escape rooms, helps get the group started, monitors their early progress then fakes his death to escape. His purpose was basically to make sure the group doesn't wipe right away in the furnace room. That shadowy figure at the end? Totally him.
  • It seems that cell phone service is just merely an imagination in horror movies.
  • Nice Kill Count you got here. Would be a shame if a sequel made you have to change your numbers...
  • @Akamaholic
I really want James to make a Kill Count episode of a horror movie where no one dies. Just to troll everyone.
  • @romangunter621
Since James and Chelsea really love Escape Rooms, then James needs to do a Kill Count for the Cube trilogy.
  • @LadyMiir
I was DELIGHTED to see you citing Deborah's credentials as a DM in addition to her acting work! I used to help mod the fan discord for Relics and Rarities, and she was just the kindest, sweetest lady. She'd show up to talk to the fans after the episodes aired, and randomly drop in pictures of her dogs! Lovely, classy lady.
