🚧Large-scale redevelopment continues in the Tenjin area of Fukuoka City.
The Tenjin area is undergoing a large-scale redevelopment project that is said to occur once every 100 years, symbolized by the Tenjin Big Bang.
🚧Construction of the Sumitomo Life Fukuoka Building Nishidori Business Center, which faces Meiji-dori and Nishidori, began in 2023 and continued with underground and foundation work, but construction of the aboveground area will finally begin in early March 2024.
The steel frame is being assembled on the west balcony and construction is underway around the 7th floor.
In the first floor piloti, the steel frame for the second floor is being assembled around the space that appears to be an atrium.
The Sumitomo Life Fukuoka Building Tenjin Nishidori Business Center will have 24 floors above ground and 2 floors below ground, and will be 113m tall.
As a result of being recognized as a National Strategic Special Zone, the height restrictions under the Aviation Act have been relaxed from 76m to 115m, and this building is planned to be built at 113m, within the limit.
The Sumitomo Life Fukuoka Building Nishidori Business Center is scheduled for completion in May 2025.
