As a German, let me add a few information.
As many other in the comments told, the pictures of the interior Frankfurt belongs to Munich.
Munich is a about to build a new arena, but it’s not finished yet.
Laxness arena is not just the biggest hockey arena in Germany, it is the biggest hockey arena in Europe!
It’s bigger than many NHL Arenas!

Great video! Looking forward for more!

That cologne / aftershave joke was gold 😂

Most of the interior shots for Frankfurt were actually from the stadium in Munich.

Funfact, Adler Mannheim with SAP was 1 of 3 in SAP was involved in a professional sport team in their region. There is also a handball team sponsored by SAP with Rhine-Neckar Löwen and 3 football teams, 1 with great success but mostly sponsored by one of SAP founders DIetmar Hopp but who didnt give them money in the last years to mostly go fully independent. First Astoria Walldorf a 4th german division team, Waldhof Mannheim who would have been bankrup if Hopp didnt give them millions to revive them in the early 2010s and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim since 1989 who are currently playing in the german Bundesliga and are independent since the early to mid 2010s without SAP or Hopp and Hoffenheim was hopps former football team in the 1960s and 70s

8:04 Reminder that the local Football Club VFL Wolfsburg was once managed by a guy called Wolfgang Wolf
  • Dankeschön for this Video :D

German Hockey Arenas used to be so much more impressive with Hamburg and Hannover in the league. Instead we got little cities and arenas like Schwenningen and Bremerhaven.
  • @ShadowScythe132
Please do the DEL2 too, its the second league and they have great Arenas

Yay for German hockey, winning their first World Championship silver medal last spring since 1953, to go with their 2018 olympic silvers. Well earned, and well deserved.
  • Kölner Haie are the only sports team in the arena because for the other indoor sports that are popular in Germany, cologne doesn't have teams that play in high divisions. So why would a team that attracts like 500 people for basketball or handball go into an 18.500 people arena? :D
  • @baumi2002
It'd be cool, if you made a video about the german basketball arenas, too!
  • @neilwhitaker6284
German hockey league arenas? Happy F00kin Christmas boys!!! Right on.
  • Thanks for the video. Since we rebuild the Arena in Schwenningen, the capacity is a lot smaller than what you had in the video. Still the loudest and best arena though😊

SAP Arena in Germany, not to be confused with the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
