Did you watch Terrence's JRE appearance?
-
I’m high af but these diss tracks are going crazy this year
-
Ironically, the most viewed peer review in history
-
Terrence Howard is the guy who proclaims that he has found a new species of snake without realizing he is holding the trunk of an elephant.
-
Wow. This is probably the kindest and most respectful take on Terrance's theory I've ever seen. Honestly I have more respect for Neil now too just seeing how capable he is of both acknowledging the effort Terrance put into this, while also being honest and truthful about how his ideas don't square up to already established and proven science.
-
If Terrence hadn't brought it up, no one would know. Neil corrected him in private
-
My teacher once taught me, "whenever you have an idea that you think is brilliant idea, don't try to prove it right but try to prove it wrong."
-
I met Terrence Howard in person, I asked him to give me $1 from his wallet one time, he gave me $2.

When i was 17 I once tried to hypophosise that there were different types of, and strengths to gravity, and it's not all one uniform force adjusted to mass: but i got lost in my own idea and bogged down in it. My science tutor was very supportive and praised me on what i was trying even though it was wrong. I even got a grade for the way i applied myself to it. Being wrong is the only way you eventually get things being right; and being able to absorb critique and advice from people with far more insight is crucial.

Terrence Howard was looking for Affirmation but instead received a Peer Review.

Celebrity: "Read my thesis". Scientist: "Nice pictures bro".
-
Perfect example of "I can see you put a lot of effort into this" rather than putting a value on the outcome. 10/10 parenting by Neil. <3
-
I dont always agree with deGrasse Tyson's ideas, theories and opinions, but this was concise, to the point and most of all, respectful towards Howard and his flawed views. An enjoyable watch, thanks for your time.

“To be a genius is to be misunderstood, but to be misunderstood is not to be a genius” is so eloquent and so brutal it made my eyes water
-
These rap beefs have ascended to galactic levels.
-
3:19 Dunning Kruger effect has ancient roots: Lao Tzu said “Those who know.. do not speak. Those who speak. Do not know”
-
I’m glad millions of people have watched this video. It’s scary how confident Terry is about his theories, even scarier that his audience will go along with it because he uses a lot of words but he’s not using them correctly.
-
I think Neil had a rather polite way of telling someone "You are completely wrong and have no real knowledge about anything you talk about, but you draw nice pictures".
-
The fact that Neil deGrasse Tyson even gave those 36 pages the time of day says a lot about him. Respect.

Howard's proposition that 1*1=2 is enough for me to ignore every following word out of his mouth.
