HONEST Review Dualliner Bed Liner Installation Ford 150 should you buy? How to protect truck bed

Published 2020-08-15
This video has the installation and long term review of the Dualliner Pop In Bed liner for the 2015 - 2020 Ford F150 Truck. This is great option for truck bed protection instead of using a spray in bed liner. Let me know what your experiences are in the comments below. I wanted to document the installation and the durability of this product as it is not very well documented. I bought the Dualliner Bed liner after much research and seeing what my options would be for my new Ford F150. I wanted a spray-in bed liner but it would have cost too much money for the end result which was just to protect the bed liner in the pickup truck. This is a good product for anyone looking to protect their truck bed. Honest reviews of Dualliner Bed liner on an Ford F150 Platinum

  • Thanks for your honesty. I have now eliminated Dualliner and WeatherTech from my options. Might have to go with a spray-in and then put a rubber matt on top of it for bed and tailgate.

Thank you for the video, months till my truck arrives, I like the Dualliner, a drop in is a little cheaper but this one looks cleaner when installed.

Great install experience and review 💪🏼👍🛠️

My panel was not cut properly on the drivers side either. As soon as you trim it or wallow out the holes so the tie down cleats line up, customer service will tell you, because you altered it, they will not take it back for a refund or replacement. They are the ones that tell you to trim it in the first place. The rubber mat had more humps in it than a piece of bacon did not flatten itself out when the temperature warmed up like they claimed it would. I hope the F150 in this video does not find the paint worn down to bare metal at the friction points like mine was. BTW I had a spray in liner installed to cover the damage.

Thanks for the review, I have a 2019 F150 and I cannot get those pillar spots to line up, there is about a 1/2 gap there, everything else is flush....wondering if they need to send me different side panels....

Interesting. Makes me not want to go with this even more. Really struggling to find the right thing for my Raptor. Spray in is not an option since I carry lots of computer equipment and it would damage the hardware. A simple rubber mat or the BedRug are the 2 I'm most leaning towards. Right now, I just use cardboard on the days I am hauling equipment. Not very practical, but cheap as hell.

nice video, but why did you not call Dualliner regarding the driver side defective panel, or at least included that in your 5 month follow up? i would like to know if they stood behind the product
  • I recently ordered DualLiner for my 22’ 250. Called to make sure it was in stock, and was told it was. Ordered that evening (website said in stock, ships 4-7 days) and the next morning awoke to an email stating “back order” I called and was told “how am I supposed to know, could be 2 weeks, could be 6 weeks” I waited another week and called back, I was assured the materials were back in stock and my liner would be shipped within the week. Fast forward another week and I received an email stating “will ship next week” ended up disputing the transaction and ordered a rugged liner. customer service is a bunch of zombies, ownership could care less, and from what I’m seeing across the web people are hating these things. Another great idea ruined by trash people!

Nice review. Well done and informative. I hate things that don't fit right and since they obviously make 100's of these they should have this down pat - considering this liner has been fitting trucks since 2015?? A couple of screws probably made it fit right....but who wants to be drilling holes in a new truck?? I think I'll just go with the drop in under rail type because of your excellent video.
  • I think you didn't install the drivers side correctly. We encountered the same thing but played with it and then it aligned properly.
  • Good thing you didn’t contact customer service! They will come up with every excuse. My mat has an air bubble in the rubber mat 2”x3” that someone put a slit in to get it to lay down. Customer service told me to put something heavy on it to weigh it down for awhile! Shoddy company!
  • How is it holding up now that you've had it a little longer. Also how did you go about fixing the left side.. you just had to cut it to fix it?
  • @mshk999
you need to remove the mat frequently and clean under it
  • @ggambrel96
For 500 bucks I’ll just get the spray in bed liner.
  • @jasongtivr6
The real world problem I see is most the time when your putting something in your truck your siding it in. And from the looks it will move
  • Not a great buy unless you don't care about quality. I regret my purchase because the company would not replace a defective component on my new bedliner. There are a lot of complaints online if you look. I should have done a more exhaustive review, but would also expect a company to stand behind their product. Not worth risking being dissatisfied.
  • @GD15555
Cheaper get line x. Moisture inside will rust metal.
  • @lmgtexas
Glad I watched this video! Will not be purchasing this liner🤨
